The McAuliffe inquiry is potentially very damaging for Clinton.

There is no one more closely linked to the Clintons. Virginia is a swing state and this inquiry highlights and harks back to already hardened perceptions about Hillary.

A federal review last year concluded that McAuliffe improperly lobbied officials at homeland security. This inquiry is not coming out of thin air and I doubt it's going away anytime soon.

7. Sigh. Pathetic. I've said repeatedly that she is far better than trump.

I've always said that she'll be the nominee. I do think that she's a weak candidate a n d that she needs Virginia. Obviously this is not good.

10. What's pathetic is the way you people frame everything

If you really felt that she is far better than tRump you wouldn't be framing everything in the worst possible light and making everything seem like a tragedy. You honestly sound like the type of person that is hoping she loses so you can tell everyone "told you so".

And I think denial is moronic. Thinking she's better than Trump doesn't mean I think she's a good candidate.

No denial here. I just get tired of hearing one crap thread after another with faux outrage about a new (or multiply repeated) faux scandal ... and if it's not in the OP, in the response, the solution is always that she should just quit now.

Crap like this gets old when it comes from Republicans. It gets depressing when BS cheerleaders sound like Republicans.

6. Oh ffs. I get attacked by hill fans for bullshit reasons and attacked by Bernie fans
Wed May 25, 2016, 02:09 PM

for equally bullshit reasons. I just deal with reality, not wishful thinking. I've said dozens of times that trump is far worse than Hillary and I've said from the beginning that she will be the nominee.

This is an issue. Duh.

I don't think she's evil, but I think she's the lesser of two evils. That is simply a way of saying that I think she's a lousy choice, but he's worse.

Not rocket science.
