Clinton Expressed Worries About Exposure Of Personal Emails At State Dept.

The worry came after her top aide said they needed to discuss putting Clinton on State's email system.

Hillary Clinton expressed concern in November 2010 about the risk of her personal emails becoming accessible after one of her top aides said they needed to discuss putting her on the State Department’s email system.

The revelation of the exchange between Clinton and Huma Abedin was included in a report from the State Department’s inspector general that was released to lawmakers on Wednesday.

The report concluded that Clinton violated the agency’s email rules when she chose to exclusively use a private email server during her four years at State Department and did not promptly turn over records after she departed the agency.

The document also included some details of an exchange between Clinton and Abedin, who both chose not to cooperate with the IG’s investigation.

“In November 2010, Secretary Clinton and her Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations discussed the fact that Secretary Clinton’s emails to Department employees were not being received,” the report said. “The Deputy Chief of Staff emailed the Secretary that “we should talk about putting you on state email or releasing your email address to the department so you are not going to spam.” In response, the Secretary wrote, “Let’s get separate address or device but I don’t want any risk of the personal being accessible.”

I thought she did, but she seems to have been granted an unprecedented autonomy as SoS.

She was allowed to operate without an Inspector General, she got to hire her buddy even after Obama forbid it, she got to use her private server. And thats just what we know about. It almost looks like she functioned as POTUS for foreign policy and Obama just sat there and watched.

WTF was he thinking when he made that deal to get her to drop out of the 08 campaign. Looks like the whole mess is about to bite him in the ass all these years later.

Now I have to admit having about 40 e-mail addresses -
I have one for message boards - like this. I have one for each paypal account I have (they used to have different ways of billing, I am going down to one now. I have one for each charity I volunteer with. I have one just for friends and family - which comes with a warning that if you include me in a group e-mail with out blind carbon copy, you will be banned and have to goto a secondary email I don't check every day. My 90 year old aunt did not like that.
I have coupon e-mail, I have required registration for reading e-mail, I have a doctor e-mail, I have two facebook e-mails one for me, and one for my dog... there are two passwords one for mail not secure (everything but my financial e-mails which get changed periodically, and another for everything that doesn't have to be secure).
and so on,many of the emails are now outdated and just on my list., I don't check them.

So If I can handle all of these why couldn't she handle two? unless.... she is so non-techie, she jsut had someone set them up and never signed in or out.
