Six things the Lord Hates...Which apply to Hillary and which to Bernie?

#Proverbs6:16-19 There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.

If you had to name one book that made you who you are today, what would it be?

At the risk of appearing predictable, the Bible was and remains the biggest influence on my thinking. I was raised reading it, memorizing passages from it and being guided by it. I still find it a source of wisdom, comfort and encouragement.

They really need to come up with some standards of execution that we can remember. All this willy nilly stoning, why, we might be getting things wrong and are supposed to be using dragonfire. Who know?

The Bible is not how we select our governmental representatives. There's this thing in Article VI of the US Constitution about "religious tests".

The last paragraph (emphasis mine):

The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.

Too bad that so many religious people are either ignorant or in denial.
