Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton takes a photo with supporters John Nelson and Dan Stifler after speaking at the UFCW Union Local 324 in Buena Park, Calif., May 25, 2016.
The crowd at Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's rally in Buena Park, California, was so fired up that two men standing in the front row lost their shirts.
The shirtless men, who arrived at the venue at 5 a.m. to secure their spots, were fully clothed when the event started but dramatically took them off as Clinton spoke..................................
When they finally met her on the ropeline, Clinton laughed and said, "OK guys!" and took a photo with them. As she walked away, Nelson grabbed a selfie video with her behind them.
"Finally found a candidate to settle for, we're going to settle for Hillary Clinton," Nelson said.
"That's right," Stifler added. "We're doing it!"........................
They don't like Trump, but they weren't totally sold on Clinton...until today.
.......................................
...................
When asked why they're not supporting Bernie Sanders, Nelson said: "You have to be stoned to like Bernie."

..................The cops at the rally were going to ask them to leave, but Clinton joked that they could stay as long as they didn't take anything else off.
"I got to admit, it is a little distracting standing up here looking at [them]," Clinton said. "So I'm going to look over this way

(47,803 posts)I can just imagine the outcry if a bunch of Sanders supporters did this

(30,481 posts)If a bunch of Sanders supporters went to multiple republicans rallies to protest and then went to a Sanders rally to cheer him on? Give me a break. These two have been out protesting republicans and supporting democrats.

(47,803 posts)..Plus those Clinton supporters look like millennial white males acting crudely.
That's not what I think. Looks like good clean political tricksters.
But If they were "Berniebros" there's be all kinds of wailing and gnashing of teeth about violations of decorum, blah, blah, blah.
NCTraveler
(30,481 posts)I disagree with how you are painting them.

Looks like they are having a great time and it was a funny moment.

(30,481 posts)While trying to turn this into something about Sanders and BernieBros.
It's necessary for you to do.

(47,803 posts)Let me be nice a literal for you.
Every time Sanders sneezes, or every time one or more of his supporters do anything remotely off the beam, Clinton supporters go into high indignation mode as to it represents how awful he is or how rude and crude his supporters are.
It does not take a huge leap of imagination to expect that if a bunch of young white males showed up at a Bernie rally and caused a scene by ripping off their shirts -- similar pictures would be posted as example of how rude and crude his BernieBros are, and how Sanders is personally responsible for enabling bad behavior.
You might disagree, but I am not hedging anything. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

(30,481 posts)Seems you were. If you are going to say you weren't it is only because you put the roller away and are now painting with an industrial pneumatic paint sprayer.
I'm not sure why you want to make this about Sanders and his supporters by means of painting Clinton supporters negatively. It's a fun op.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
It sounds like the perfect slogan for HRC's campaign: "Settle for less, settle for Hillary!!!"

Settling for HRC, because with disapproval ratings like hers, it's the only thing one can do.
