A partial list of reasons I was given by people who could not attend our caucus -

I am disabled
I work weekends
I don't yet know my schedule on Saturday for my second/third job
I don't have a ride/car
The drive is over an hour each way
I am in assisted living
My granddaughter is getting married that day
My son's/daughter's graduation party is that day
I can't be gone from home 4-6 hours
My sons/daughters have ball practice

and the one I heard most often - I don't have anyone to watch my kids.

However, almost 90% of them volunteered the fact that they would be voting for Hillary in the general. iows - From early on they thought she had it wrapped up.

I am not an expert on WA demographics but it is a diverse state so that explains why Hillary did well.

Primaries allow more people to vote.

'Cause back in March, the story was that Bernie won Washington because we're supposedly not diverse.

But then I also recall that Kentucky is "white as a lily and racist as hell" up until she wins it, then it's a valued and diverse state. Of course, the same thing was said by Hillary supporters back in February about Iowa, until she won it by half a percent (New Hampshire, of course, remained absolutely slathered in evil white supremacists, apparently)

Amazing how "diversity" has seem to be determined so regularly after-the-fact, wholly dependent on whether or not Hillary wins.

I support what the citizens of Washington wanted even if it means I partly agree with you. It's easier to vote than to caucus. A lot easier. All the more reason to do a primary because more voters is more gooder.

Edited to add: I'm aware the DNC sued to keep the caucus.

Hell, l do not like either candidate. But some of the Bernie supporters here are unhinged. The whole usurping the will of the people thing.

Now that the Democrats of Washington have voted the results mean nothing! So usurping the will of the people only is bad when Hillary does it.

When Democrats vote Hillary wins. And this November when Americans vote Hillary will win. Trump is self-destructing before the primaries. He just trashed the only Female Latina governor this country has ever had. It sucks that she is a Republican.

exit polls do not mean too much. The fact is when there was a real election, when people went into a booth and actually voted, Clinton won.

And keep in mind, I am no Clinton fan. Don't love Bernie either. But I sure like Democrats better than Republicans.
