2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumAccording to MSNBC Hillary is under not one, but two criminal investigations.
Both because of her emails. One by the FBI and the other from the Bureau of Diplomatic Security. This was news to me. Anyone know more?
"However, there are other inquiries that could hold the potential for prosecution. For example, the intelligence communitys inspector general and the State Departments Bureau of Diplomatic Security are also looking into the matter."

The presidential campaign: Hillary Clinton
Clinton arguably boasts experience in government unparalleled by anyone in the presidential field but that has also made her a high-profile target for attack.
Almost certainly.
While it will add more fuel to the theories of conspiracists whove accused Clinton of all kinds of misdeeds including murder for more than 25 years, its real impact could come from the fact that its not a partisan attack. Its an independent report from the agency she ran for four years.

Not simply on the basis of this report, which resulted from an administrative inquiry, not a criminal investigation.
The focus of the report is on the State Departments cybersecurity protocols in general, noting that the State Departments longstanding, systemic weaknesses
go well beyond the tenure of any one secretary of state.

(45,042 posts)She didn't need a time machine. All she had to do was follow the guidelines and regulations and perhaps come up with more rules and implement them in the State department, they she headed, but instead she chose not to follow the guidelines and regulations.
