Mediaite says it was a knock on Bernie, not Hillary. But he was talking about both.

I watched the whole press conference and Bernie wasn't even mentioned during that exchange.

He was earlier tho. What Obama said in Japan mirrors what he said in 2008 about Hillary.
That's my take but he could be talking about both.

I feel like he's trying to remind people that people in a primary will say all kinds of nasty shit in a primary and then kiss and make up later and work together to beat the other side. After all, he was on the receiving end of it from Hillary in 2008.
