"Young Turks" Invites Donald Trump To Debate Bernie Sanders

The Young Turks have invited both Sanders and Trump onto the show for a cross-partisan debate before the California primary.

Uygur says that this might happen given Trump’s history of wanting control of the headlines. He adds it’s also a good point Trump can use against Clinton, “‘Oh you wouldn’t show up to debate, well I showed up in your place’ that’s the kind of move Trump would do that would steal a tremendous number of headlines.”

TYT has reached out formally to both camps but Uygur says that Clinton is also welcome on the debate.

“Wouldn’t it be amazing to see all three on the debate stage at the same time and you get an absolutely clear understanding of where each of them stands and then you get to make your decision. Isn’t that how a democracy is supposed to go? Wouldn’t it be wonderful?”

Bernie is appearing on tomorrow's show, 6pm eastern.

7. Sanders may be going into this with honest intentions, but if tRump does it, he'll just be using BS

tRump would just be using the opportunity to get free airtime, a big audience and the ability to attack Secretary Clinton and not have her their to defend herself.

BS would have two options, both of them losers ... he could join in and attack Secretary Clinton as well, which would simply show the entire Democratic Party that BS is a lie and that he doesn't care about party at all ... or he could defend Clinton, which would make the BS cheerleaders lose their minds and would make their heads explode. I personally would hope for the second option.
