That's the problem with the internet. People will actually read and evaluate what is happening. The MSM does "narratives" based on what they want to happen. But, unfortunately for them, people can read, and then you end up with posts like this:

(2,546 posts)It is a natural reflex and always the first course to take...
e.g., MSNBC To the deniers... Watch THIS Video... It is not comforting to think that she may well be the Democratic Nominee...
Hillary really betrayed Andrea Mitchell... The entire context of this report was of a solemn nature... A Funeral so to speak...
Andrea Mitchell "I do not see this report as ...ANYTHING BUT... DEVASTATING!"
Chuck Todd "After this I don't think that she could get confirmed for Attorney General!"
Lots of FIBBING by Hillary here.. for more than a year!

(30,613 posts)Well, well, well. Seems like Clinton's own website has been exposed as a huge lie with respect to this issue once and for all:
Updated: The Facts About Hillary Clintons Emails
Her usage was widely known to the over 100 State Department and U.S. government colleagues she emailed, consistent with the practice of prior Secretaries of State and permitted at the time.
Was it allowed?
Yes. The laws, regulations, and State Department policy in place during her tenure permitted her to use a non-government email for work.
Completely false, as per the IG's report (source: NYT):
The State Departments inspector general sharply criticized Hillary Clintons exclusive use of a private email server while she was secretary of state, saying she had not sought permission to use it and would not have received it if she had.
As reported by Bloomberg:
Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clintons use of a private e-mail system while she was secretary of state violated State Department rules, the agencys inspector general concluded in a report that will hand Republicans an additional line of attack as the general election campaign gets underway.
Also blatantly false is Clinton's claim that she and her aides are willingly cooperating with all public servants on this:
We understand that members of her State Department staff were recently asked to assist the Department in its record-keeping by providing any work-related emails they may have on personal accounts. They have received requests from Rep. Gowdy as well.
Clinton is proud of the work of all the dedicated public servants that were part of her team at the State Department. She was proud of her aides then and is proud of them now, as they have committed - as she has - to being as helpful as possible in responding to requests.
Also as per Bloomberg (as well as the hundred other sources reporting this):
Clinton declined to speak with investigators, according to the report, as did at least three key aides: former Chief of Staff Cheryl Mills, former Director of Policy Planning Jake Sullivan, who is now a top aide on the campaign, and former Deputy Chief of Staff Huma Abedin, who now serves as the campaign vice chairwoman.

But the site vs report is kind of hilarious. It's all just lies.

State Department seeks one-month extension for one snow day ..not the onion
The U.S. State Department asked a judge on Friday for a one-month extension to finish publicly releasing thousands of emails sent by Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton while she was secretary of state, in part because a winter storm closed government offices.
The department said in a federal court filing it needed until Feb. 29 after realizing this week that it had "overlooked" emails amounting to 7,254 printed pages that it should have already shared with other agencies for them to review for sensitive information.
It said expected heavy snow in Washington, D.C., had interrupted delivery of these emails to other agencies. Many federal offices closed early on Friday afternoon.

Well here's a Ron Ziegler type twist on excuses on Hillary's email from Mills
link: http://video.foxnews.com/v/4922757172001/clinton-aide-blames-email-bungle-on-benghazi-illness/?playlist_id=903354961001#sp=show-clips
So in the deposition Mills gave to Judicial Watch, she claims that dealing with the aftershock of Benghazi as well as Clinton being ill preoccupied them to the extent that they failed to even think once about giving back the government records (Clinton's emails)
Clinton took with her after she left the State Department. She's claiming that these issues affected them for the entire two years after she left before they ended up returning them.
This has to be one of the most bullshit explanations I've seen given yet, especially when you consider that they did not return the records until the State Department demanded them and that when they did, they turned over "dumb" paper copies instead of electronic ones. Tens of thousands of printed out copies. This clearly obstructionist format also runs contrary to Clinton's assertions that they've been doing everything they can to cooperate with any and all investigations.
Oh and by the way Judicial Watch isn't the only one involved with this civil suite............. AP NEWS was suing also.
I remember Nixon and Watergate; Delay, obstruct, obfuscate, lie and conspire............ but that's another story, another time right?
