The Kentucky secretary of state says Hillary Clinton remains the winner of the state's Democratic presidential primary after a recanvass requested by her opponent, Bernie Sanders.

In a news conference Thursday afternoon, Secretary of State Alison Grimes says there are no changes to the results of the election as certified by the counties in last week's vote.

Grimes says the 1,911 vote difference between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders in Clinton's favor remains. Clinton is the "unofficial" winner until the State Board of Elections certifies the results at 10 a.m. on May 31.
