We're all terrified that the super-delegates - the ones that have heard Bernie demean the party, label their fellow Dems as "corrupt media whores", and decry positions like theirs as being the domain of those who are bought-and-paid-for - are going to watch Bernie regurgitate his 30+ years-old talking points for the zillionth time and declare him the nominee!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you have anything to say about how or why the SDs would flock to Mr. Also Ran's side after watching another debate? I'm sure there's a GREAT story behind that belief - and I'd sure like to hear it.

Now we've got two reality TV stars giving Americans a show.

If it bothers me at all, it's because it's a distraction that could take time away for Hillary to shore up her defenses against Trump and that concerns me. And clearly a huge portion of this site shamefully doesn't care if Trump or Hillary win if Bernie doesn't so yeah, that's a concern too, but do I think the supers are going to switch? hah! After the way fanatical Bernie fans have treated them? They were so rude to Senator Boxer, she ended up losing it and giving them the finger. Probably not her best move but it should give everyone some sense of the anger bubbling beneath the surface of some of these superdelegates. They aren't going to switch.

Every time I see these proclamations of how the superdelegates are going to switch, I just cackle. I don't think the Sanders supporters truly understand the gravity of their behavior and how scorched earth and abusive it's been towards so many leaders in the Democratic party. Whatever truths might exist within their message is deeply hidden under the absolute havoc they've been wreaking.

Well, bravo for Bernie weighing-in on that comment. When do you think he'll weigh-in on the comments his supporters have made on the FB pages/websites of people like John Lewis, Gabby Giffords, Al Franken, Howard Dean, Sybrina Fulton, etc.?

I would hardly call my sneering and jeering anything remotely close to apoplectic. Trust me, if I were apoplectic, message board sites three doors down would know.

I think it's ridiculous because he isn't going to be the nominee and it's just one more way for Trump to cheapen the whole process to the level of a reality tv freak show and Bernie seems perfectly content with making it happen. Even Trump made it clear, without question, that Bernie is going to lose so he'd only do it for a ten million dollar charity. It takes attention off of the presumptive candidate who needs this time to build her cache against Trump as a candidate. Even if Bernie does spectacularly, it means nothing because he'll still lose the primary, but then he'll go off after giving Trump what will almost certainly amount to a win after painting Bernie as one click on the dial from a Communist. It's disgusting that Bernie would scorch the earth this bad. He's the most bitter and vindictive candidate I've ever seen in my lifetime. That said, nothing he could do short of getting elected would actually make me apoplectic. LOL

The Superdelegates are going to see this for exactly what it is, more sideshow grandstanding and the very reality show style spectacle they don't want to see our party devolve into, which I'm sure they'e afraid of after the way so many Bernie supporters have treated them this primary season—something akin to a reunion episode of those Housewives shows.

If, as you say, Trump gets clobbered, the super delegates who support Clinton will feel more comfortable that Trump is a doomed candidate and will feel better about their support for Clinton.

And in the unlikely event Sanders stumbles...well, that also will make the super delegates who support Clinton more comfortable with their support for Clinton.
