Sanders' weak performance with Democrats and minorities is why he lost the primary. No one can win the DEMOCRATIC primary without winning the Democratic base.

Besides, Clinton won most of the open primaries, so the argument isn't even relevant. I don't think there was really a difference between the open and closed primaries. Some states just didn't like Sanders and it had nothing to do with independents not being able to vote.

Her greatest accomplishment Secretary of State is in a shambles and will probably be in litigation for years.
