2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumHillary Clintons campaign is in decline.
It's a result of mistakes she has made. Not what other people are doing or saying but what she has done and what she has said. It's no secret that the OIG state department report called her out for her lies. And it's no secret that she doesn't want to debate because of it. Well, what happens when she is about to debate Trump and the FBI releases a recommendation to indict? Will she debate him then or will she back out? It shows her weakness as a candidate that she won't debate.

(2,461 posts)I so wished this report had not been so unequivocally damning. Yes, it mentions the other secretary of states that used their own email. They made the report as balanced as they could. And left room for plausible reasons for Hillary's breaking the rules/laws, which they pointed out - and those points stand alone - you can't erase them.
Her speech to UAW - she looked like she had been crying. She was drained and going through the motions. It will be interesting in the next few days to see if she can get back on her horse. Watch for it, and then tell me how she is 'doing just fine.'

Sanders' supporters can only hope for some miracle because their candidate is simply losing the popular vote.
