Bernie and his supporters want the FBI to help them overturn the will of the people and hand the nomination to Bernie Sanders.
From the New York Times:
--------------------------------------------
ANAHEIM, Calif. Senator Bernie Sanders may be trailing Hillary Clinton by hundreds of delegates, and Mrs. Clinton may be treating the Democratic nomination as hers, but Julie Crowell, a stay-at-home mother and a die-hard Sanders supporter, is holding out for an 11th-hour miracle: divine deliverance at the hands of the F.B.I.
Like many of Mr. Sanderss supporters, Ms. Crowell, 37, said she hoped that Mrs. Clintons use of a private email server during her time as secretary of state would eventually yield an indictment, and she described it as the kind of transgression that would disqualify another politician seeking high office.
She should be removed, said Ms. Crowell, of Tustin, Calif., who attended a Sanders rally here on Tuesday and said she planned to vote for a third-party candidate if Mr. Sanders failed to overtake Mrs. Clinton and capture the Democratic nomination. I dont know why shes not already being told, You cant run because youre being investigated. I dont know how thats not a thing.

(18,115 posts)What Bernie supporters want is irrelevant to the criminal investigation.
And Bernie supporters are not monolithic in thought. I, for one, hope Hillary is not indicted. But I also think much damages has already been done by her violations of law.

(249 posts)She broke with State Department protocol. She is not criminally or civilly liable for anything vis a vis the emails.

Sounds like there's going to be a bloodbath. Long overdue.

(12,689 posts)A dark side of me wants to see what happens if Trump is in, said Mr. Vizcarra, who works in information technology. There is going to be some kind of change, and even if its like a Nazi-type change. People are so drama-filled. They want to see stuff like that happen. Its like reality TV. You dont want to just see everybody be happy with each other. You want to see someone fighting somebody.

(4,213 posts)Among the litany of complaints being laid at their feet: Fewer than half the jobs promised at the industrial park, built after 366 farmers were evicted from their lands, have materialized. Many millions of dollars earmarked for relief efforts have yet to be spent. Mrs. Clintons brother Tony Rodham has turned up in business ventures on the island, setting off speculation about insider deals.
A vote for Hillary Clinton means further corruption, further death and destruction for our people, said Dahoud Andre, a radio show host in New York who has helped organize protests against the Clintons. It means more Haitians leaving Haiti and not being able to live in our country.
And now, Michel Martelly, a president whom Mrs. Clinton helped get elected, has turned out to be another in a long line of troubling leaders.
Tony Jeanthenor, 55, a member of the Miami-based Haitian human rights group Veye-Yo as well as Lavalas Family, a Haitian political party, said he was voting for Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont because of the senators distaste for involvement in other countries affairs.
Nothing good for Haiti can come out of Hillary because of her past behavior, Mr. Jeanthenor said.
...
But to many Haitians, the most significant moment of Mrs. Clintons tenure as secretary of state was in 2011, when she flew to Haiti to pressure President René Préval to admit Mr. Martelly, a popular recording artist, into a two-person runoff for president. Mr. Martelly was third in initial voting, but the Organization of American States believed that the man who was second, Mr. Prévals pick, had benefited from vote fraud.
The night of the runoff, which Mr. Martelly won, Mrs. Clintons chief of staff, Cheryl D. Mills, wrote a congratulatory note to top American diplomats in Haiti.
You do great elections, Ms. Mills wrote in a message released by the State Department among a batch of Mrs. Clintons emails. She wrote that she would buy dinner the next time she visited: We can discuss how the counting is going! Just kidding. Kinda.
Ms. Millss email may have been intended as tongue in cheek, but it has fed a suspicion among Haitians, if lacking in proof, that the United States rigged the election to install a puppet president.

(79 posts)Even if Hillary gets indicted and drops out, there is no way in heck the DNC is going to let Sanders get the nomination. No way, NEVER. They will not risk having the Socialist lose in the GE, which is exactly what will happen (despite all of the meaningless early polls that say otherwise). The GOP will destroy Sanders. The DNC will rig the rules to have Biden or Warren swoop in and take over HRC's delegates. For Sanders supporters to keep hoping for the FBI to save them is just more false hope.
