Romney is really vintage Chevy Chase doing his Gerald Ford imatation!!!!
It finally hit me when I was talking with my mother and she relayed one of Mitt's more recent gaffs.
When asked by a senior citizen recently, "I just was a 'yes' or 'no' answer......will you repeal Obamacare if you get elected?" Romney's response was, "why wouldn't I?"
Or even better, when asked by an AP reporter, "do you realize your comments are hurting your campaign?". "yes, next question" was Mitt's response.
You couple all this with his painfully embarrassing renditions of America the Beautiful, and the Ballad of Davey Crockett, his vacant look, his perpetual cluelessness and......<poof!>.....Chevy Chase's Gerald Ford.
If we could only get Mitt to take a pratt fall or two ........................
