I feel certain we can easily child-proof gorilla cages

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by uppityperson (a host of the 2016 Postmortem forum).

But after the unwatched child climbs under the fence no fair complaining when he is knocked unconscious by the electricity in the secondary wire barrier.

I'd like to think that we still have some standards here at DU.

7. Perhaps electrocuting children has become a primary issue?

I mean, this sounds more like something Trump might suggest, which would put it in GD, I would imagine, as part of the general election campaign.

5. Wow, ok. Maybe instead, the zoo can build better barriers that don't allow a child

to breach them.

In any case, a human child is much more valuable than a gorilla, unless you are a PETA person.

10. Right, but you suggested electrocution as a good barrier

I don't think electrocuting a child is a good idea...call me crazy.

By better barriers, I meant physical barriers that a child would not be able to tunnel under or climb or otherwise breach, no electricity needed.

And does your candidate support the electrocution of children?

If your candidate is Trump, you are posting in the wrong forum.

And, while Steve King has publicly come out in favor of electrocution, I don't believe that he is running for President.

And even if he were, it would be on the Republican side, just like Trump.
