Insulting herself? That is simply too funny. I love it when people try to outdo themselves with their rhetoric. It always brings something funny out like you did there. NCTraveler, you have insulted yourself!!!!! Bwahahahahaha. This is really getting good and people are becoming more and more transparent with their Boxer hate.

And by the way: if I resent Clinton for praising Nancy (Reagan), that doesn't make me an ill-informed "bro". It just makes me an irrevocably lost voter, who overmore is hell-bent on overturning 20th century politicking.

and if you love party loyalty, you should really love republicans, I find most liberals (or are we now eliminating the term liberal fromthe party?) think for themselves.

Also, what the hell does it matter how long I've been on here? I did not see any time criteria for posting and/or replying. So, I guess since you have been on here longer, that your opinion counts more than mine? Sorry about the butt-burn, but that isn't the how democracy works.

She looks 15 years younger. Frankly, The Berned One looks increasingly hunched and doddering.

Hardly a robust image. His mouth hangs open in fatigue when in repose, and his shoulders curve over in a widow's hump.

Not ageism...just simple reality.

IMO, it's a shame we didn't have some younger candidates run, but the track was cleared for you-know-who so our nominee will be old no matter who it is.

There are many age based laws in our society, which most people feel are helpful...driving age, drinking age, minimum age to be President. And realistically, there is an arbitrary upper age limit for many things as well. Many states require older citizens to be retested for driver's licenses more frequently than younger citizens. Professions such as pilots, air traffic controllers and in many states, judges have mandatory retirement ages.

I think most people would think that an 80 year old is too old to run for president. Some people would think it is younger. While we don't have a firm law on this, it is not unreasonable to take age into account when considering a presidential candidate. I know that if a 35 year old was running, it certainly would be a factor in people's decision, and it should be. Younger people by and large do not have the understanding of someone even slightly older. It is a well-used tactic for a fringe candidate to use the younger generation's idealism and inexperience to amass a large following (and focus on large rallies, to use as photo ops). Older people have seen this time and again, which is what I believe the Senator is referring to.

Everybody starts out young and gets old if they live long enough. Plus it's legal to discriminate based on age. For example people under the age of 18 can't vote.
