Related: About this forumObama Says The Democratic Nominee Will Be Clear Next Week
Huffington Post:I think that there has been a healthy debate in the Democratic Party, and its almost over, Obama said during a town hall-style event broadcast by PBS.
People will probably have a pretty good sense next week, of who the nominee will be, Obama said.
I wonder who it could be.....

I may not like that he supported Universal Health Insurance instead of Universal, single-payer Health Care, like Bill before him and now Hillary, but I don't hate him. I could give an entire laundry list of reasons why I don't agree with many of his policies and some of the actions he has taken, but it's not important for purposes of this post. But I don't hate him. No politician is worthy of any emotional investment like that from me (Do YOU invest time/emotion in hating a politician?!).

(11,605 posts)Many of us love the president and wish we could give him a third term. I conducted a poll on here a while ago that showed that a lot of people in both camps (probably more in the Hillary camp though) would rather have another 4 years of Obama than have their candidate become president. (I'm honestly not sure if I fall in that camp - if Obama could run again I'd be really torn between him and Bernie)

(11,605 posts)I am a little disappointed that he is treating next Tuesday as the finish line, because it feels like an F-U to the voters of DC, for him to wait so long to endorse, long after Hillary mathematically had it all but locked down, but then decide DC voters are not important enough to wait for. I know he is itching to get out there and help bring the party back together, but I don't see why he can't wait another week to avoid trivializing a primary held by voters who already get such a raw deal in terms of representation.

Hey there, Hillary Brah.
We female Bernie Bros have been too sensitive about the Hillary Brah's cute name for all of us Bernie supporters. I've realized the error of my ways and vow to never again send a "this is sexist" jury alert on any more Hillary Brahs' posts containing the term Bernie Bros. Yes indeed a sensible jury approved of your Hillary Brah's decidedly (by a 7-0 jury!) charming term of endearment. We female Bernie Bros stand in abject apology before you Hillary Brahs and firmly declare we shall do no wrong again. All hail the Hillary Brahs!
Carry on Brahs!

Darn--it fit so perfect for with Clinton's "woman card" campaign, too} I learn something interesting every day still. LOL

the way us female Bernie Bros have been carrying on about you Hillary Brahs' use of that term for us. I am mortified that I ever sent jury alerts on the Brahs' use of what I, also, thought was a sexist term for us females.
In light of these continuing jury decisions (7-0) to not hide those type of Hillary Brah posts, I am reforming my ways! I am apologizing to all the female Hillary Brahs in this thread (you even served on this jury! Now I feel even worse...) who were clearly offended by the thought that us female Bernie Supporters would ever believe your delightful "Bros" term for all of us was anything other than charming.
I see the error of my ways, Hillary Brahs, and affirm the right of all you Brahs to use the term Bernie Bros to refer to all of us Bernie supporters. I lie prostrate in supplication and declare I shall sin no more against Hillary Brahs!

(11,573 posts)Not at all. If you think a gender-neutral term should be coined for women who call other women c***s, shout down and send death threats to convention delegates and party officials, and are de facto Trump enablers, please offer one. I'll be happy to use it.

The fact is, Bernie supporters who do these things are overwhelmingly white males. Most Sanders voters are neither party nor sympathetic to the misogynist, homophobic and frequently racist assholes.

the Hillary Brahs are Okay with sexist terms like Bernie Bros. What was that, 5 female Hillary Brahs is this thread railing against a jury alert to hide the use of Bernie Bros because it's not sexists? And then flaunting the jury's 7-0 no hide?
Alright, this female Bernie Supporter is nothing but accommodating, Hillary Brahs.

by the Hillary Brahs as it was the Hill Camp that coined it. No use railing against the Brahs' use of it. It never gets hidden when alerted on, so us female Bernie supporters just need to toughen up and ignore the Hillary Brahs' use of it.

(11,573 posts)so perhaps your attention is misdirected. It was only after the media picked up the term in association with their bad behavior that the Bros decided that they themselves were mythical and the term sexist.
The faux outrage is rather amusing, though. Do proceed.
