Bill Clinton was in my town on Friday and Hollywood, FL is about an hour south of me...nothing could induce me to go to a rally. But swing states pay a high price for all this "attention" My mail is crammed daily with political ads, my television has been taken over by the likes of Allen West as well as Romney....I'm even sick of the Obama ads now as there have been so many of them for so long. Dealing with voter suppression is something you don't have to worry about in Bay Ridge....

I wasn't whining....The ads go into recycling, I probably read 5 times the number of books you read and everyone has problems...real and imagined. Grow up.

When was the last time Mittens visited Kansas.. They get overlooked too for those half dozen or so swing states.
Having a Senate that is unrepresentative should be enough to balance the so called influence of the small states with fewer Congress -members.

All the stinking attack ads we don't have to hear. Since , the conventions the candidates have only visited 10 states.
Could it be , either side might suffer by taking the other 40 for granted.

saying his crowds are getting smaller. Wolf Blitzer to be exact.

I am in NW FL but nobody is coming here. In 2008 Michelle came here and I went to hear her speak. Awesome and everyone left so fired up and ready to vote!! It was a big thrill and I'm sorry none of the big names came here.

We left - too hot and we were not sure we would get in because we arrived too late. But it was very incredible seeing the lines and the fired up people waiting in the hot sun to see the Pres. And many of them waited up to 4 hours to vote in Florida too. People are Fired UP!

...and I also work in Kansas. As always, there's never a candidate there, but last time we did get to rally with Obama. In fact, those were close friends who had Barack in their HOUSE as he watched Michelle at the convention!

But now, it breaks my heart that Missouri's a write-off, so no rallies for us this time, either.

Along with my proud but not swing-state vote for Obama, though, maybe I'll also cast the deciding vote for Claire, and that would be pretty darn satisfying.

I was there and it looks like what he was wearing and you can see the palm trees there. We waited on line for 3 hours and the line literally went in for miles. We were late so did not get inside the stadium. We sat outside in a field and watched the screen. It was just good to be there. Charlie Christ was there and the crowd loved him and of course Debbie Wasserman Schulz, the rally was in her district and I am happy to say that I am now in her district and she will soon be my representative. Very upbeat and determined mood overall. The president seemed tires but cranked it up at the end, he was hoarse.

This is a very strenuous process and it takea lot of effort to turn up for a rally like this. It had to be at least 25k people and they were so happy they cheered the motorcade aftwrwards even though everyone was tired and hot.

If we lose Fl it won't be by much and it won't be because the dems did not show up.
