"Large donors."

When you're "donating" your bosses' money, you are making a purchase, not a donation.

Political donations are often described in terms of "bang for the buck." http://m.kiplinger.com/article/business/T043-C000-S002-what-you-need-to-know-about-political-donations.html

When donations are by big business, the reference is tp laws, regulations and *wink wink* enforcement that favors big business over individuals. No explicit quid pro quo, though. However, all parties understand that showing "gratitude" is expected. And big business knows not to donate to a candidate like Sanders.

I was told in my thread about 58% of Fortune 500 CEOs preferring Hillary over Trump.

Because the GOP does it a bit worse. So DNC are the good guys because they take slightly less bribe money from Big Corps.

why I can't support these Dems any more. And also why my friend who is a special needs teacher and most of her colleagues supported Sanders in the primary here. Malloy is also allowing Bridgewater, a major hedge fund co, to blackmail the state by threatening to leave the state. So Malloy is handing them $22 million to stay and gutting education to do it. Meanwhile Dileo who is the head honcho made $1.4 billion in one year and his coCEOs made $250 million each last year. Somehow they need that $22 million from the state!

This is what the Dem party is now and until this changes, the middle class and working poor will continue to decline. When is enough enough?

"If the Democratic Party would fight as hard for the Working Class as the Republican Party fights for the Ruling Class, the Republicans would be a powerless minority party within a few election cycles.

The Democratic Party knows this, the Republican Party knows this, the Ruling Class knows this- and they've been astonishingly successful at making sure the Working Class never learns this." ~ Anonymous
