I've been here 8 years now. And yet, I've not been to Wales yet! I must do that; I hear it's really beautiful. I've managed Scotland and Ireland, but not Wales yet.

Been to London before, but not often....other than Gatwick or Heathrow. Loved Scotland and Ireland.....these days we mostly head to The Balearics or the Canaries looking for sun.

14. We do South of France

We're lucky enough to have a little place down there - nothing fancy! But sometimes you need some sunshine. For the most part, I like the climate here; not a huge fan of intense heat as I get older and fatter, lol! But in the winter, the 6 months of grey can get to me. A shot of sunshine from a weekend in France makes all the difference!

My husband hikes in Wales a lot - the rain doesn't bother him, he says the hills are more beautiful than anything in England.

And we live on one of those hills....while beautiful....it kills me coming home from the pub and climbing the hill, lol
