During an interview on MSNBC’s “Hardball” on Wednesday evening, Jeff Weaver faced down Chris Matthews, who grilled the campaign manager over when his boss would cough up the tax returns after Weaver speculated on why Donald Trump has withheld his tax returns. Sanders released his 2014 tax returns on April 15.

“Sen. Sanders will release his tax returns during the course of this campaign?” Matthews asked, to which Weaver responded, “He said he would.”

Matthews then asked whether Sanders would release the latest returns before the convention next month in Philadelphia. Weaver repeated, “He said he would, yes.”

Pressed for a date, Weaver responded, “I will. I would be happy to get you a date, Chris.”

Including discussing debating each other - and calling for new rules that only Hillary needs to follow.
It's bullshit.

I just want to take the hide off of Trump... I could give a rip about BS and his acolytes. If he and they just went away I would be happy. As much as i would like to I don't see the need to punch down at him and them unless they attack me first.

Talking points. She really punched on certain descriptive phrases that I think a lot of people will be picking up from her. I also think that for her it was a way to make it very very clear to voters that Sanders is irrelevant at this point. To me it was a way of showing she is truly fighting the GE now, and I don't fault her for that- tamping down the indictment and SG talk without addressing it, just moving forward.

Which seems smart to me. Where are the taxes matters because Trump has to be pressured too. Sanders has to stop priding cover for Trump.

at the earliest possible nanosecond, and this week, he's talking about Sanders' tax returns as if they're of dire and urgent importance.

One or the other, Chris: if Hillary's really got this in the bag, Sanders' tax returns don't matter.

Anyone who takes Chris seriously must of missed his great reporting during the Bush administration.

I think the similarities between Hillary's views on the ME and the PNAC's ultimately won him over.
