Bernie or Busters now finding a silver lining in Donald Trump. They were never progressives.

They just hate Hillary. You try and talk sense to them, about the court, or choice, or climate, or any of the other issues (all of them) where Hillary is 100000 times better, and they just go "Hillary EEEEVIL."

But for Trump, they're totally open minded and benefit of the doubt. At least he won't bomb anyone (what???). At least he'll start some trade wars. At least he's not part of the establishment. At least, at least, at least. Since when is "at least" part of the vocabulary of people who won't compromise on anything less than Bernie the great?

Anyways, if you never thought Bernie or Bust people were progressives to begin with, you're being proved correct.

It's never been a secret that a group claiming to be far left fits that bill. They waffle between "socialists" and "libertarians". They really fit in more with the Paul crowd but attempt to latch on to left movements as well.

This is not a blanket statement about the far left.

Your opinion. That and nothing else.

I'm a Sanders supporter...I do not fly a flag emblazoned with "I am a Bernie Bro" or "Bernie or Bust," and if you think Clinton is a "progressive," I'm not even going to try to change your mind.

"But for Trump, they're totally open minded and benefit of the doubt."

And again, 100% absolute utter horseshit. I don't know any Sanders supporters who are "open minded and benefit of the doubt" when it comes to Trump.

Go ahead, keep posting this divisive, accusatory, inaccurate crap.

Not everyone at Mr. Sanders’s rallies is dreading a Trump victory, however.

Victor Vizcarra, 48, of Los Angeles, said he would much prefer Mr. Trump to Mrs. Clinton. Though he said he disagreed with some of Mr. Trump’s policies, he added that he had watched “The Apprentice” and expected that a Trump presidency would be more exciting than a “boring” Clinton administration.

“A dark side of me wants to see what happens if Trump is in,” said Mr. Vizcarra, who works in information technology. “There is going to be some kind of change, and even if it’s like a Nazi-type change, people are so drama-filled. They want to see stuff like that happen. It’s like reality TV. You don’t want to just see everybody be happy with each other. You want to see someone fighting somebody.”

Jackie Becerra, 28, an executive assistant who lives in Lake Forest, also said she was leaning toward voting for Mr. Trump if Mr. Sanders was not the Democratic nominee. She said that she doubted Mr. Trump would keep his promise to build a wall along the border with Mexico, and that, even though his proposal to bar foreign Muslims from entering the United States made her “nervous,” she did not believe he could stop people from coming into the country based on their religion.

“Everyone is like: ‘Trump has these terrible social issues. He hates Muslims and he hates the L.G.B.T. community,’ ” she said. “But our world is big enough that he’s not actually going to implement any of those changes in a realistic way. But what he will do is potentially audit the federal government, and he will try to break up some of the banks and try to at least influence government that way. However, with Hillary, it will just be a complacent, run-of-the-middle-of-the-road presidency.”

and it was found that Hillary's campaign (gasp) responded to the veterans' request for assistance with media contacts and (oh the horrors) actually had one conference call with them?

One little newly-hatched, unpaid, Berner "journalist" had a fit about it and the BoBs here had tear-stains on their faced for the terrible injustice done to Mr. Trump.

I think the more sensible Sanders fans smartly stayed away from that stink. When you're coming to the defense of Donald J. Trump, it's probably time to sit yourself down and have a heart-to-heart.
