Sanders didn't say he was going to make a speech exclusively about Trump, as far as I know.

Anyway, here are a few minutes about Trump from Sanders' stump speech:

A person is required by law to file taxes. Not so much with transcripts. Disclosure of one has been a standard for decades, the other, nobody really cares so much about. You can tell by the longstanding lack-of-give-a-crap that's been pretty much everywhere with the exception of a few die-hards.

Now, didn't Weaver promise the returns a couple days ago?

It's been done as an informal thing, but not required. So don't do the high-horse thing with me.

1992: "Controversy erupted when Mr. Clinton refused to release tax returns prior to 1980.

In an interview with the Washington Post, Hillary Clinton said, "We just feel we have gone the extra mile. Talk about accountability. We feel we have been more accountable than most people who have been in this position, and we feel very comfortable about it.""

He finally did after relentless pressure from the press.

7. Here are a few quotes from Bernie last month here in Oregon:
Fri Jun 3, 2016, 10:46 AM
Jun 2016

"“Our message to the Democratic delegates who will be assembling in Philadelphia is while we may have many disagreements with Secretary Clinton, there is one area where we agree, and that is we must defeat Donald Trump,” Sanders said.
“Donald Trump is not going to become president for a number of reasons. And the major reason is that we cannot have a president who has insulted Latinos and Mexicans, who has insulted Muslims, who every day is insulting women in one way or another, who has insulted veterans like John McCain and others, who has insulted African-Americans in a very profound way…. Mr. Trump will not become president because the American people understand that our strength is in our diversity.”

Bernie has been attacking Trump all along. He even stated a willingness to debate him live, which most Hillary supporters did not exactly support. They want him to go after Trump, but quietly and in a way that draws no attention to Bernie....if they really just wanted Trump trounced, they'd join me in eagerly supporting anyone who castigates Donald. Some of us have been doing that since the 1980's.

He has been "eviscerating Trump" for the entirety of his campaign, so your statement is based on a patently false assumption that I expect, given your established patterns here, is taken more in malice than in error.

I suspect that Sanders challenged Trump mainly because sharing a platform with someone with whom he agrees on the issue most important to him - Hillary Clinton - would let them launch a two-fold attack on her, while both bolstering their own images.

Romney gave pretty much the same speech, and it had absolutely ZERO effect in stopping Trump.

But, yeah, her speech was totally different.....

I don't know about you, but I have been watching all of this the past several months. Attacking Trump like this has been going on since the Republican Primary started. Everyone has tried it. Seriously, everyone. Every candidate, every pundit, etc. Everyone has been attacking Trump like this. It has had no effect.

So, what is different about this?

Hillary was speaking to the American electorate. Drumpf was speaking to the Repuke electorate. The former is infinitely broader.

The only logical inference one can make is that you are arguing that all have attacked Trump and all have failed. I correctly noted this time is different because the audience is different.

These are the same attacks against that have been tried by every republican candidate, half of the media, etc. over and over.

That is the point I was trying to make. That these attacks have already been tried.

I mean, we all get it....being president is not the same as being on the apprentice.....Every one of his opponents, and half of the people on TV have mentioned this to freakin death.

Does anyone think that they are the same? Being president and being on the apprentice? No, we all know they are not the same.

"I agree with Secretary Clinton that Donald Trump's foreign policy ideas are incredibly reckless and irresponsible," he said in his statement. "But when it comes to foreign policy, we cannot forget that Secretary Clinton voted for the war in Iraq, the worst foreign policy blunder in modern American history, and that she has been a proponent of regime change, as in Libya, without thinking through the consequences."
