"Clinton - Sachs" is bitter and unnecessary.

Who knows what's in Senator Sanders tax returns....?

"Perfect place for Bernie to visit. In-n-Out has always paid over minimum wage, and offers full benefits, even to part time employees. And they're one of the most profitable (per store) fast food chains in the world. They prove you can invest in your employees, treat them well, and it will actually help your bottom line."

5. I like their style--they're very efficient. Some people here really hate 'em.

That's because of the religious stuff on the wrappers written in teeny-tiny writing. I guess the owner is religious, or something. They don't push it on people, though.

No one ever gave me a Bible lesson while I was waiting for my burger, so it never bothered me one way or another.

http://www.snopes.com/business/alliance/inandout.asp

In-N-Out Burger was founded by Harry and Esther Snyder in Baldwin Park, California, in 1948. Although this chain of west coast hamburger restaurants has since grown to more than 200 outlets, control still rests in the hands of the Snyder family. According to the company's web site: "In-N-Out remains privately owned and the Snyder family has no plans to take the company public or franchise any units." The Snyders are a religious family, and their continuing to control their own company means they can put what they want on their product packaging. They've chosen to include pointers to particular Bible verses that we presume hold special meaning for them.

.... We examined the packaging of other menu offerings from In-N-Out (coffee cups, milk containers) but failed to uncover any further pointers to Bible verses. The ones we've found expound upon a shared theme: belief in the Lord.

As proselytizing goes, this is about as low-key as it gets.
Not even the texts of the verses themselves are printed out; those looking to absorb the messages (and who don't have this article handy) have to do so with the assistance of their own Bibles. Yet even so, the presence of those simple notations has been interpreted by some as indicative of a lurking menace: we've had folks tell us they've heard In-N-Out Burger was "owned by the religious right" or "the Christian Coalition," or a "sect," or that bible-study classes were secretly held at each location. ....

I'll be sure to look next time. Usually, I'm so busy stuffing my face (OMG - grilled onions!) that the wrappings get destroyed pretty fast. As long as they keep the proselyting outta my face, they can have at it. But it's a waste of their printing money if it's covered with grease and gooey cheese!

If it gets offensive, like ChickaFila did/does ... all bets are off.

It's a personal expression of religiosity on the part of the owners, and that's as far as it goes.

When I first heard about it, I had a hard time finding the "offending" citations (quotes deliberate--it didn't bother me any more than "Moby Dick-Chapter 2" might). They're there, though! I like their food wrappers/containers--very biodegradable and simple.

They don't proselytize at Chik-Fil-A, either (the few times I've been to one, it's been with a gay guy and his sister, who love the pickle-brine chicken...which is very delicious). The staff was really nice, and I personally don't think all of 'em were church-goers, either (of course, you never know). I think they have a corporate presence/attitude that might not translate down to the work force on the front lines.

Here I am, talking like a fast food pro, and I can count the times I've been to both places in my entire life on my fingers~! Don't even need the toes!

He lit a fire under tens of millions of people; betting he's glad for the decision and the effort, as exhausting as it has undoubtedly been.

Amazing how beloved he is. The only people who dislike him are the hillarians. He could get a lot done as potus, in a progressive direction. Too bad the party is insisting on a conservative with legal problems and lots of animosity.
