Barney or Bust

" Bernie alienates his natural allies,” Frank said. “His holier-than-thou attitude—saying in a very loud voice he is smarter than everyone else and purer than everyone else—really undercuts his effectiveness.”

2. It is much better when one practically admits corruption and that one consistently makes mistakes.

Taking money from corporations, bankers and private prisons is another big plus.

12. It's no Glass-Steagall ... it's a marginally useful half-a-glass, that doesn't go far enough.

Which is probably how he landed his position as a bankster, once he finished his term in Congress.

4. Sounds like 'projection' to me.

Not a damn thing 'holier than thou' about Senator Sanders, but then there's former Congressman Frank, dumping on those he appeared to, in the past, represent, support, and work for.

Massachusetts v Vermont thing? Massachusetts v Brooklyn thing?

7. Good old gas-bag Barney gets in those talking points:

"holier than thou"
"purity"
"thinks he's smarter than everyone else"

Same old, same old. The financial and political elites have always played the "that egghead thinks he's smarter than you!" card. They've been trotting out that method of manipulation of people they themselves think are stupid for as long as I can remember. Follow that script, Barney! See you already followed the script for getting a nice, cushy job with the so-called "enemy" after retiring from a lengthy stint as a public representative. I wouldn't have expected anything less of you, Mr. board member of Signature Bank.

11. And that is exactly why Bernie has an 86% approval rate in Vermont and gets 25% of Republican votes

Hey, Barney Frank, you can't just keep making stuff up and think no one notices.

Sam
