Related: About this forumLess than 1% of the registered voters of Kansas voted today
for Rick Santorum. I know he will spin that into great victory but it really shows just how turned off the voters are with their choice of candidates for the republican party. I think they should be very worried.

when it's time to take on Obama. I think they'll come out in full-force then...Kansas has been red for as long as I can remember.

(135,425 posts)2. Who's running for Congress, that's what brings 'em out in a depressed election year.
If there's any fear of an upset for their favorites, they'll jump on the bandwagon and get out and vote.

BTW - In 2008 Obama did better than Clinton or Carter.
