Bernie should drop out RIGHT NOW!

My three-point advice to Bernie:

1. Drop out now. But first make a quick deal with the presumed nominee. Drop out in return for a cabinet post. That's technically illegal, but laws don't really matter anymore. Pick a prominent cabinet post, one where you can jet around the world interfering in everybody's business.

2. Start a Foundation. Collect money, lots of money, from the nations you are visiting on your trips. Then grant them favors, like arms deals and such. That's also technically illegal, but again, laws don't really matter anymore.

3. Start writing boiler-plate speeches to give to big corporations once you leave office. Those companies will pay you $250,000 a pop for vague generalities, just because they love you. That's morally suspect, but it's perfectly legal.

Oh, wait a minute. My advice requires moral compromises. Bernie doesn't roll that way. Never mind, Senator Sanders. Fight on until the convention!

Why not see if you can name a couple of other people to posts on the cabinet?

How about he Attorney general and/or the Secretary of Treasury?

It's good that Bernie is a man of good character because Hillary would have a tough time refusing to make such a deal with him considering her past, her history.

But it's all legal as long as you don't get caught, isn't it Hillary?

are giving a massive exoneration to Hillary Clinton without knowing the full extent of how badly she screwed things up.

I get that people want her to be President, but she has some flaws that are straight, plain and glaring.

Asking folks to ignore that is like asking them to declare the earth is flat.

best reflects them, literally. Therefore, to attack the candidate is to attack the voter. As we have seen with religion, it is very hard to drive a wedge in and sever that connection. People will not allow a disruption of their self or worldview if they can help it.

some of us just cannot stomach the dishonesty that Hillary Clinton brings to the table.

Being a woman didn't force her to be dishonest. Being a Democrat certainly didn't, either. Being married to Bill Clinton did not cause poor judgment like keeping an email server in her basement bathroom closet.

Yes, I operate under the assumption that Hillary Clinton is dishonest. That is because I have a functional brain.

... you have let 25 years of Republican brainwashing take hold of your brain. In just seven years, the GOP has thrown the following at President Obama: Birtherism, Marxism, Acorn, Solyndra, Fast & Furious, Benghazi and on and on.

Secretary Clinton has had to face down twenty-five years of that bullshit. If you put a dollar figure on the column inches and air time, it might reach into the tens of billions of dollars, including television, radio, newspapers, the internet and multiple government committees.

Remember that much of this isn't just commercials but the whole segment of a program or an entire article in a newspaper. She has had to defeat the largest advertising campaign in human history, while taking on her Democratic Primary opponents, the NRA, and every Republican in the clown car. She has.

It is up to you to steel yourself against the Right Wing Talking Points. Senator Sanders has, for the most part, had the Grace to avoid them. Why can't you?

Good for you, bbb, the nukes are the worst thing mankind has ever done, and it's only because of anti-nukers like you that we have any kind of handle on the problem. Of course, Bernie is also anti-nuke, whereas Hillary is on the nuke team. Heck, she went straight to Japan after Fukushima blew sky-high and reassured Japan they could keep sending rice to the US even if it was nuked.

It is so great you have such high, unimpeachable morals that you can preach morals to us. Please, preach some more!!

(1) most disliked candidate in Democratic history.
(2) least trusted of all candidates dem or republican
(3) Under FBI criminal investigation
(4) sinking in polls
(5) loses to Trump, whereas Bernie wins against Trump

If you don't want Trump as President, Hillary should think of the country instead of her own PERSONAL AMBITION.

Mon Jun 6, 2016, 09:24 PM

There is simply no support and no logic to that theory. If you look at the news reports from November 2008, it was clear that she needed to be persuaded to take the position. And the president just doesn't work that way. Around the time some of you say he offered her the SOS job in exchange for her support, he was being criticized for being too arrogant to think he needed her support.

But now that you bring it up, Hillary was absolutely the most qualified person in the entire country to be Secretary of State. After all, Hillary had spent decades in the Senate. So she was up on every last nuance of foreign policy. Besides that, she had experience as an ambassador, so she had already had strong relationships with foreign leaders.

Yes, Hillary was qualified - dare I say overqualified - to be Secretary of State. That's why Obama picked her. She was an acknowledged foreign policy expert.

As for me, I'm qualified - dare I say overqualified - to be the King of Spain.
