I am just curious where people stand right now in this election. Granted, feelings and opinions can change later. I'm sure many Bernie supporters may feel right now like they cannot vote for Clinton, but may change their mind later. This is just a momentary snapshot. In case the poll looks familiar, I had attached it to an earlier post, but I'd rather do this without my own commentary. If you are uncomfortable with taking the poll, then just ignore it. Comments are welcome!
Thanks!

(13,218 posts)I support Hillary. Bernie should and will make a decision at whatever time he chooses and for whatever reason he chooses. He will be known by his choice.

(9,704 posts)from a more middle-of-the-road POV. I do have a number of friends who are Hillary supporters and they have expressed their belief that Bernie has been treated pretty unfairly by the DNC and the media. I think all Bernie supporters share that thought. There does not seem to be much of that sentiment from Clinton supporters here on DU though.

(13,218 posts)But could easily be convinced with evidence. Not anecdotal evidence, not testimony while not under oath. So DU is not a particularly effective venue for such a discussion.

(17,783 posts)Even after his plan to solve our energy problems utilizing zombies. And did everyone forget the FREE PONY???
Obviously, those items didn't resonate with people.
So, we are now forced to retool the campaign to offer a FREE ZOMBIE for everybody instead! We believe this is what Americans obviously want. And, to that end, we have shipped a FREE ZOMBIE to every voter in California, and one to each Superb Delegate, as a gesture of goodwill.
We anxiously await tomorrow's primary results. And if it doesn't work, I never said this.

(15,435 posts)Some who are Bernie supporters and who really DON'T want to vote for Hillary feel we HAVE to fall on our sword to vote for her if she's the nominee because of Trump. BUT, right now Trump is beginning to get some flack and he may find his support falling off and he may NOT be a real danger. So IF he's not doing well many Bernie supporters WON'T feel the pressure to vote for Hillary.
So if his support drops and I see there's not a real contest then I CAN'T see any reason to vote for her. IF I believed half of what she's saying it would help, but I don't. I feel she's too right wing AND I KNOW there are far too many issues from her past that turned me off and I actually think are criminal. This is only my opinion but this is something my family and friends are having a very hard time making a decision about. We DON'T want to vote for her, feel we're being boxed in and are still wondering what we'll do.
I have never in my 45 years as an activist felt this way about any nominee, and I'm so very, very mad that THIS DEMOCRATIC PARTY decided VERY EARLY ON that it will be HILLARY, no matter what. I'm quite livid that I've been put in this position and it goes against what I always thought the Democratic Party stood for. I also think too many Primaries have had problems and it's too hard for me to believe that everything was done properly!
BUT IT'S WHERE WE'RE AT!
