Hillary could easily beat Trump in a landslide

if her campaign and supporters made peace with the Bernie campaign and his supporters.

Instead, it just seems like they won't give an inch and lately are happy to antagonize his supporters here, IMHO. Obviously it's been a tough campaign and a lot of raw emotions. I don't think Hillary and Bernie have even been particularly negative to each other. It's all the supporters.

I hope there is a real reconciliation, because I would love nothing more than to stomp the GOP out of power, across the board, in November.

We have trolls playing both sides of this race here on DU, and their goal is to keep the fighting going as long as they can and try and convince as many as possible NOT to vote in the GE. All they do post hate filled threads and then sit back and watch as posters on DU go after each other.

Want to unite the party? Ignore the trolls. The two parties are NOT the same. Hillary is not as bad as Trump. Your voted does count. If you really want change of any kind, you sure as hell won't see it if Trump wins the WH, and thats just a fact.

and see all the attitudes and name-calling and threats to not vote, etc. It's disconcerting.

For one thing, anonymity allows for people to converse in ways they wouldn't in a face-to-face interaction.

For another thing, the DU population is a tiny fraction of the electorate and won't have a noticeable impact on the election results.

Facebook, for instance, has the same sort of antagonistic crap from Hillary supporters. And these are real people I know.

From where I sit it appears she is spending time courting you. You aren't going to be happy with everything she does and says. Neither am I.

But your "give an inch" line is on you. Not Clinton. Where has Clinton directly and repeatedly antagonized you in a manner you feel is out of bounds in politics? Clinton has been speaking about many issues you care deeply about in a manner you would respect under most circumstances.

Every time I see her speak for more than a few minutes, she says something that's turns me off.

Yet I will still vote for her.

Some people say she has leaned left in this campaign to try to appeal to Bernie supporters. I don't even see that. She already seems pretty damn centrist. I can't even see how she could tack to the center any more in this election and still appeal to Dems.
