Of course, then they will make us wait a good 45 minutes for the next update. In 2012 that took 3 hours in San Diego

that come in will reflect that.
Retrograde
(10,136 posts)6. Santa Clara County - one of the larger ones
says on its voting website that it got back 33% of its mail-in ballots as of yesterday, so if other counties follow that pattern there will be some bases for calling a few races. That's from over 600,000 ballots were sent out, which is a third of the total county population - not just eligible voters!
