Even if the campaign ends...the Sanders movement MUST continue.

Whoever becomes president, the country will need a continued mass struggle against corporate domination and for democracy.

Any meaningful change that is achieved will only be won by concentrated and long-term organization and pressure from below.

And we have shown that we can bring that pressure.

We have won support far beyond the expectations of anyone when this campaign began.

We have largely won the argument on the issues and support for what we have fought for and will continue to fight for can only grow.

That is something to be proud of.

Bernie was right to run and we have been right to support him.

The fight for the world we need goes on.

I agree with you and get your point, but its a progressive movement more than a 'Sanders' movement Joe the Revelator Jun 2016 #4
Agreed. I'm just trying to keep the link between the campaign and what happens next. Ken Burch Jun 2016 #5

He has a lot to be proud of and I think his inclusion will mean changes to the rules regarding superdelegates. I've heard that the superdelegates may disappear altogether. Who knows. He's shown that it needs to change.

Bernie also shed light on issues that I think would've been mostly ignored by the major candidates. He's shown that there is a segment of the Dem. Party that should not be taken for granted as it has been.

The movement will continue.

I'm proud of the kind of campaigns Hillary and Bernie ran. They ran on issues unlike those other guys.

We need to get as many democrats, progressive if possible, into political power. Both at the federal level, state level, and local level.

We need to change the political climate so that republicans can't continue to kick the can down the road through blind obstruction when it comes to issues like climate change, and so they can't let another horrifyingly stupid and evil foreign intervention take place.

We need to push the country left, and push as hard as we can.
