Voted Sanders in NC last March and toasted last night to Bartcop whose loyalty was always with HRC.

I wanted to find a silver lining and found two pretty damned good ones. A shattered glass ceiling and Bartcop's joy of purpose and spirit that he extended consistently in support to Democrats and TeamClinton.

Pretty sure that many of the old-time Bartcoppers here at DU will join me in that toast.

My love and respect to all of you. Cheers.

I never understood his fascination but there had to be a good reason. Bartcop would have had a field day with this primary race. He missed some fireworks! Hugs and love. Cheers.

He brought me so much joy during the Bush years. I know 2008 was tough for him as it was quite the ugly primary as well with subscribers turning against him.
What a shame. Good guy with a big heart. I wish he could have experienced today and also November.

Couldn't even imagine in a million years smearing him as a DINO or a corporatist based on his primary preference.

I went through two weeks of his blog. If you ignored the cartoons, he posted more anti-Kerry comments than he did anti-Bush comments each and every day. His anti-Kerry stuff was clearly of the criticism "he should be doing this, not that" variety. But he couldn't manage more anti-Bush stuff on one single day.

And when I sent him an analysis on that, he just denied it. Didn't even give it a thought.

Bartcop pretty much never met a Democrat he didn't hate except for the Clintons. I find there are a lot of Democrats like that.

On edit: that's not to mean I disliked Bartcop. I was just disappointed.

Even then, I was angrier than a hornet towards Bartcop, but, never AT him, if you get my drift. ; )

At the end of the day - stopping Republicans from wielding the power of the Oval Office is our only chance for a greater good in this world.

longtime bonds for some of us here….bonded for good, and, for those we've lost, even death will not part us.
