Martin O'Malley for VP

I have been thinking for a long time that it was going to be Julian Castro but given that the opponent is Trump, O'Malley might be the better choice now. He is rock solid.. former Governor of Maryland... great debater... liberal enough to spark interest from the Sander's folks and not so liberal to scare off the moderates. I think he could help with all mid-Atlantic states as well as the mid-west and rust belt states. He will also give Hillary some "white male" credibility. I think he is on the very short list.

2. I'd much prefer Amy Klobuchar.

Men who have an issue voting for a woman aren't going to be mollified by having a man on the ticket to be taking orders from her.

with a two woman ticket. There is a strength in that, too, I think. Obliterate the ceiling.

Not sure how to say this but I dont think this country is ready for a "two woman" ticket.

Bill chose another young southerner (Al Gore), Hillary can take another no-nonsense woman.

- Democrat
- Female
- Veteran
- Hispanic/Other than Caucasian

Let's make sure the glass on that ceiling can never be patched or repaired. In the process, Trump can keep self destructing.

11. O'Malley would be a strong VP choice. Definitely easy to support that selection.

I have no idea who will be selected. I once thought Julian Castro would be the slam dunk choice but I am not sure any longer. I even think there is a slim chance Bernie will be selected as a unity attempt. I simply don't know.

And for a very specific reason. In the debates, he was able to frame immigration as a moral issue very effectively and in a way that I think could be very damaging to Trump. Anti-immigrant rhetoric is central to Trump's campaign. O'Malley can woo some of those who are persuadable on the issue back to the D column.

He was very critical of Clinton at the end. Is there real bad blood there, or can they kiss and make up?

He was a bit harsh but I think that's water far under the bridge.

O'Malley is a great speaker and debater. That will help.

but I like O'Malley and if he's not the VP pick, he is my number one choice to head up the DNC.

in the Democratic coalition will come from minorities, it would behoove us to have a person of color, especially Hispanic, on the ticket.
