Here's Why Bernie Should Drop Out.

(And Why He Shouldn't.)

Love him or hate him, Bernie undeniably shook up the presidential race, giving frontrunner Hillary Clinton a real run for her money and pushing her to become, some say, more liberal on issues like the minimum wage and campaign finance. Right now, though, it looks like he probably won’t win the Democratic nomination for president. Should he drop out of the race and throw his support (and considerable fanbase) behind Hillary? Or should he stick it out, continuing to draw attention to the issues he cares about and prove to voters that he doesn’t shirk on his values?

Should you stay or should you go, Bern?

A reasonable presentation of the pros and cons here.

3. Stay In

I realized last night where Bernie is coming from and why he is staying in - his participation in the civil rights struggle in the 60's. This is the kind of person he is at his core.

This is what you do to make change. You keep fighting. If those protesting civil rights were people who simply gave up when the "majority" said to where would we be?
This is what it will take to change a corrupt system and Bernie knows that better than anyone.

Also, I don't understand how Hillary's team can honestly believe Bernie's team will flock to her.
Looking back, I remember so many ways they tried to discredit Bernie, referring to his supporters as nothing but white "Bernie Bros", claiming he was not involved in the civil rights effort, constantly referring to him as "not a democrat" yet they all wanted and need him to vote with the dems in congress, it goes on and on.
Hillary's team should have had some foresight prior to reaching a win if they really wanted is supporters on board.

This is why many say - too little - too late.

He should stay in and be heard.

Regarding the $$ being donated to Bernie, this is not a concern to me because I do not worry that it will not be used appropriately, perhaps for down ballot progressives.
Jeopordizing Hillary's chances, I think she can handle that all on her own.
Losing the young voters, again, I don't think Bernie can be blamed for any of Hillary's failings.
And yes, it ain't over till it's over - lets see what happens.
