2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumI'm rather proud that the most visible Democratic Progressive, Elizabeth Warren, is endorsing HRC.
For it is Senator Warren, who has worked tirelessly for the Democratic Party, for progressive goals, and for us, who should be considered for VP.

Besides, I doubt two women on a ticket would fly.

(40,168 posts)I say it won't work.
Plus two top-ticket candidates from neighboring northeast states is political suicide, anyway.
Thanks for the history lesson just the same........

(83,728 posts)She is my Senator.
I have said this time and time again, She will do the GOP the most damage where she is.
Thank you so much, you said she has a choice. Every woman has a choice.
As for your snark.
Sad how you belittle women. Your comment is sad.

(382 posts)What Elizabeth Warren doesn't have is an oppositional personality. She can work with a team to get things done that she would be unable to accomplish alone. That, in fact, is why humans came together in villages, then towns and cities.
That's also why we have political parties, into which a large group of people with similar goals can join together to accomplish those goals.
On another note, I hope that if she's being considered as a running mate she has worked hard on her debating skills. She was abysmal against Scott Brown. Since her speaking has elevated a couple orders of magnitude, I suspect her debating abilities have also improved.
I would still go with Julian Castro as VP. He's a great speaker and a great debater, who has already kicked Ted Cruz' ass in a debate, and Cruz ain't no Scott Brown. Plus, he offers balance to the ticket, and Republicans are afraid of him.
I would be happy with either, or about ten others! Also looking forward to the endorsement! Thanks for the heads up.

(27,787 posts)The "Bernie movement" was the "Warren movement" first.
Or is your point that Bernie and Warren are the only progressives in the Senate?
Regardless, Warren will endorse Hillary ... and then under the Bernie bus she goes.
