Makes no sense. Are you trying to push people away from voting for her? Many Bernie supporters already jumped on board and are willing to work with Hillary and vote for her in November but you people just keep on pushing buttons. If I hear another uncalled nasty thing about Bernie supporters on this website, I'm out of here. It's past ridiculous now. Take your win and be happy and be an adult about it and we will do whats right and vote for her.

(10,602 posts)There are a few Sanders ppl that seem hellbent on antagonizing everyone here with continued snark, though...Emailgate, "Hillary and Donald once had a picture together!", and so on, though.
These users seem to be FFR'ing themselves one by one between last night and tonight though.
Correct.

(154,021 posts)not gonna waste my time with you again on this issue. But to be quite honest, I really do not care at all about you. I already told you this I don't know how many times If I die please don't care for me either, I mean it. I should be a non person to you. I am not going to waste my time worrying about you. Have an excellent day.
PS, to be more accurate, when I die. please do not make that a matter of concern
PeaceNikki
(27,985 posts)I've never said anything to you that nasty or worthy of that kind of nastiness.
nadinbrzezinski
(154,021 posts)And that is why I try to just put you and the rest of the crew out of my life. Won't ignore you. But that does not mean I am going to waste an iota of energy anymore. Is that clear now? Or do you need me to explain this another thousand times?
Look on the bright side, you are not in this particular group that will never be forgiven by me.
PeaceNikki
(27,985 posts)They were hateful words. You don't say "I could not care less if you live or die" and not be hateful.
You think a virtual raspberry blow is bullying and then you replied to me with the hidden post basically wishing for harm or death upon me?
That was morbidly nasty, nadin. I may rib you about your grammar and spelling because I think if you worked on those things it would literally help you as a reporter. I realize now that my other reply of "I am not now, nor will I ever be, worried about you." may have come across as a general statement about you as a person. And for that, I am sorry. It was specifically in context of the Clinton scandal. I deleted it because of the fact I did not mean it like that. And I apologize if it came off viciously. I give you shit sometimes, but i have never been intentionally vicious to you in the manner you have to me.
I have never said anything even close to as hurtful or hateful to you as you did to me. That was a completely over-the-top response and several since.
I suggest that you reflect deeply on whether that is really the person you aspire to be. Especially while accusing others of being nasty.
So, while you're busy making lists of people who you'll never forgive, maybe make a second list of those to whom you should apologize.

(154,021 posts)Let me tell you a story. I was bullied relentlessly by a kid from kindergarten to junior high. It did not stop until I left that school. The administration knew. They did the same as the administrators of this site. I met her five years ago, at temple...after my dad died. She tried to tell me how she was a great BFF. You are trying something similar.
Just stop telling me what I need to do, and take your own fucking advise. You are the one who needs to do a lot of that reflection. Now do me a favor...just leave me the fuck alone. What you are doing is gaslighting. It is a form of psychological abuse. Don't even dare to tell me how to feel about this.
Have a good evening.
PeaceNikki
(27,985 posts)I'm trying to make peace. It's clear you don't want that and want to continue to paint yourself as a victim while hurling stones from your glass house.

(249 posts)I'm still seeing plenty of this from Sanders and Clinton supporters. Your post, ironically, does something similar to what you're complaining about: pushing people's buttons with unsubstantiated posts that bear no resemblance to the reality the rest of us see at DU.

(6,552 posts)Outnumbered by a large degree and Bernie supporters have reigned supreme and, as large majorities often do, generally treated the minority in less than a respectful way.
Now the minority has won the nomination. They are blowing off steam and it's been a very long time coming.
Give both sides some time. There is going to be a major reorientation of this website in a week, and civility will be the new reality for every member. It will happen because members will have no choice but to behave.
Couldn't come at a better time.

(45,319 posts)me ashamed to be one. Endless and often bigotry motivated attacks on Sanders went on nonstop. Hillary claimed Reagan was the fist AIDS activist and her supporters nodded along. There were the lies about those photos that were 'not Bernie' but of course were Bernie. The list goes on and on like this.
This affectation that her supporters were not here on DU posting all of thatas they wished on a website owned by Hillary supporters who changed the rules to allow the surly nature of their cohort to continue is laughable. Laughable.

(110,159 posts)something. I just am. I am so tired of the constant attacks and lies about Clinton.
Yes, there are an incredibly lot of Sanders supporters on Du processing and putting this experience in their place, that they can face the GE and either enjoy, or at least participate and support. I think a lot of Clinton supporters are equally appreciative, and thank those that are able.
Clinton supporters are going to celebrate her win and accomplishments and success. To have Sanders people get on the thread and accuse Clinton supporters of doing wrong, for being excited about a win, is wrong.
Time. A lot of this is going to heal with time.
Right now, Sanders has not put it to the side. He is still open game, while he is playing.

Don't expect it to die down. Anything bad that happens between now and November will still be the fault of Bernie Bros not clapping loudly enough.

(45,319 posts)they can't stop attacking Bernie, Hillary's victory was not their objective nor their motivation. Many of those posters are on record on DU saying they don't care for Hillary. But they hate Bernie.
So many or some of them were just in it for the attack not the election of a candidate. It will be hard for that lot to stop.

(10,056 posts)I think that the attacks are a thinly veiled way of driving away or silencing progressive and left leaning Democrats.
The 'purity' they have used as a beat stick against the left of the party was classic projection.
