Sanders would oppose Sherrod Brown as HRC VP

Politico: “Aides say Sanders thinks that progressives who picked Clinton are cynical, power-chasing chickens — like Sen. Sherrod Brown, one of his most consistent allies in the Senate before endorsing Clinton and campaigning hard for her ahead of the Ohio primary. Sanders is so bitter about it that he’d be ready to nix Brown as an acceptable VP choice, if Clinton ever asked his advice on who’d be a good progressive champion.”

themselves from anything that could be seen as bad judgement by spilling this stuff to a writer for Politico. This isn't his first article channeling their version to the public. Sources have to be considered, of course, but it does seem that Bernie has a bit of a vengeance problem.

This is not the only source for some of these reports. And this one specifically confirms Barney Frank's description of Sanders as someone who genuinely believes any colleague who does not support him is corrupt, that with him there is "no such thing as honest disagreement."

(Good thing for him all the colleagues he's told the world are corrupt aren't out gunning for him! That's kind of an insult for those who are not.)

Btw, Politico is a DC insider medium that leans slightly right and is in no way a friend of Hillary.

She says whatever it takes to get attention. Her political career is just a series of stunts and grandiose statements, which is reflected in the whopping 460k votes she received in 2012. She's failed in nearly every political campaign she's even attempted, because there's nothing there.

Ah, the 13-minute video. The one with no context, no references, heavily edited. If you believed that, it's not that surprising that you're falling for Stein's shtick.

Sanders calls Sherrod Brown, denies Politico story

UPDATE 9:15 a.m. June 9, 2016

Connie Schultz, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and wife of Ohio Sen. Sherrod Brown, said Bernie Sanders called Brown Wednesday to deny a Politico story that suggested Sanders felt betrayed by Brown and other progressive senators.

On Facebook, Schultz added: "Bernie always gives the best hugs." She said she didn't fault Politico for the story, and said she didn't doubt that some "embittered staffer" made those comments. "I just don't believe he or she speaks for Bernie," she wrote.
