Original post was for:

Democrats Will Learn All the Wrong Lessons From Brush With Bernie

Instead of a reality check for the party, it'll be smugness redoubled

That's what I get for not checking out greatest page. Changed title to "Deleted as duplicate" and content to link to original post.

And, yes, I got that impression from many on here. It's too bad because Taibbi is right. If the Dems actually started representing US, the working people of this nation, they would crush every election.

I mean, if I thought for a minute the person I was voting for actually cared about me and would do things that would improve my life, I'd go all out for them.

Like I did for Bernie.

I still hold out the hope that the Sanders campaign has made a dent in the beltway group think that keeps them from doing just about anything.

Even Bill Clinton understood it once upon a time when he said this:

"When people feel uncertain, they'd rather have somebody that's strong and wrong than somebody who's weak and right.”

Maybe someday it will sink in that Strong and Right is just about unbeatable. (It took a hell of an effort to beat back the Sanders campaign.)

P.S. It's been brought to my attention that my OP duplicates one that's already on the greatest page. I changed the title and content accordingly. Didn't include my "Dare I say" remark in revision.
