Sure Sanders would win California if every single outstanding ballot was for him

But logic dictates that will not happen.

And math dictates why he's not going to pull ahead. And why he wouldn't lead in delegates even if he did.

That's 1.4 million. Sanders trails by a 450k margin now. So he'd need to win 925k-475k to overcome that. That's over 66% of the remaining vote.

It's not going to happen.

And there hasn't been an instance where such a wide lead has been overcome. Some lower level offices have had candidates pull ahead, but only in instances when the deficit was very small to begin with. I don't think the Sanders supporters hoping for a dramatic shift are aware of how these things work.
