If we're REALLY lucky we MAY win FL, but I'm more doubtful about that from all the stories of long lines and lack of ballots in heavily democratic districts already. Still, Nate Silver only gives Romney a 55% chance of winning Florida, so it may happen.

margin. Absentee ballots have to be mailed before the election, but they don't have to arrive before the election in OH. Provisional ballots are not counted until Nov 17. If OH is close, we are in for a long wait. So I really hope we can win FL or NC.

So Obama is not necessarily going to win them by as large a margin as in some other states.

Obama campaign knows their internal numbers in North Carolina. He has a sizable lead in early voting. Michelle Obama was in North Carolina Monday with Mariah Carey. I think they are pretty confident in North Carolina. Their campaign sent out an urgent email today for 2,869 volunteers to get out the vote for tomorrow. They claimed they registered over 300,000 new voters and half of them have already voted. They are planning to get a lot of voters to the Polls tomorrow. Romney is playing catchup in North Carolina. The Democrats still have the edge in voter registration. All they have to do is match Romney's votes on Election Day. They didn't do that on election day in 2008. They only did it for Early voting.

With a great GOTV effort, Obama could very well win it.

Living in Georgia, I can say that while Robme will carry the state....

I have noticed a significant difference between the number of Obama bumper stickers and yard signs and those for Robme. I would say Obama outnumbers them by a clear 8:1.

That said, I think Obama will get a significant number of votes...yes a minority, but still a significant number of votes and not just from African-Americans. I think he will do as well or better than in 2008.

I also expect there are some Evangelicals here that while they hate Obama and his health care plan for everyone and making sure women get paid the same as men for the same job and his other nutty ideas, plus him being a Muslin (pun intended), they will not vote for the Mormon.

As a Christian I cannot accept Mormons as Christians. They are some form of abnormality. They don't believe in the Trinity. They worship Elohim (not Yahweh or Jehovah as with Christians and Jews). They think Elohim lives near the planet Kolob (haven't seen any evidence of this from astronomers).

But he will carry Georgia because there are so many stupid (and not the 1%) that will blindly vote for him because he has an "R" by his name
