I felt the Bern and I like the Bern.

I know not everyone is on board with that. I bookended my reasons for liking him with pointed and often personal attacks throughout the primary. Sanders himself gets it. Politics isn't pretty nor should it be.

One of the best parts of the primary being over for me is that I get to return to supporting Sanders. I'm sure it won't be at every turn, I've yet to agree with a politician on all points, and I haven't always agreed with Sanders.

Why?

Fun - Seriously, I have had a lot of fun here throughout the primary.

Win/Lose - After O'Malley dropped out I went with Clinton. Not 60/40 Clinton. 100% Clinton. You win or you lose. The difference is monumental.

I Greatly Respect Her - I feel like I have been through so much with her. From celebrating her successful fight to expand healthcare to yelling at her on the TV for her IWR vote. Her ability to get out there every single day with her head up high after decades of relentless attacks. She keeps going at it and she doesn't need to.

Happy Friday. Feel the Bern.

not be angry. He ran as integrity and honesty, which he was not, any more and a lot less than Clinton at times and jumped on the wagon smearing Clinton lacking integrity and honesty. That one still pisses me off.

I would like to get where you are.

I fully understand why he did what he did. He is a career politician.

Additionally, I'm pretty sure our surrogates blanketed him with some borderline dishonest attacks as well. Difference is Clinton has surrogates with damn near the same name recognition as Sanders doing the attacks for her. It's one of the things that attracts me to Clinton. Her network of progressives is beyond impressive and this primary put a light on how organized it is.

They go to the bar together after work and talk shop with each other, there's no real enmity at the top.

I've waited seven damn years for Obama to declare Republicans terrorists under the Patriot Act and Hellfire their asses into Freedom Mist. I doubt you'd have to do more than eight or ten of them and the survivors would get more cooperative...
