There is no reason to still be in campaign attack mode towards Bernie and his supporters

It's coming to an end. It doesn't matter, at this point, whether or not Bernie formally withdraws from the race. He and most of us are cooperating with the party(while working to make sure that the platform does reflect our views as much as the views of the HRC, which is only fair and which no one has any real reason to object to).

This is no longer a war. It's no longer anything, really.

Just chill.

It's all going to come together in good time.

43. If you see the first link as an attack against Bernie
Sun Jun 12, 2016, 12:33 PM
Jun 2016

then you didn't understand the point the OP was making.

He was making a mathematical argument that really isn't all that subtle. Bernie supporters on DU have been arguing endlessly that Bernie supporters' votes must have been stolen because Bernie had huge rallies. Others, including the media, have concluded that Bernie supporters who showed up for rallies must not have voted. The poster whose thread you're objecting to was pointing out that this conclusion doesn't necessarily follow. Bernie supporters who showed up for Bernie's rallies probably did vote. It's a quantitative argument, and to understand it, you simply need to realize that only a tiny fraction of voters attend rallies. If Hillary supporters are even slightly less likely to attend rallies than Bernie supporters, you can have a result where Bernie has huge rallies and Hillary still wins the most votes.

If anything, the post you're objecting to was a defense of Bernie supporters. Do you really want to be portrayed as someone who shows up for rallies but can't be bothered to vote on election day?

I think you'd have some credibility if you chastised those in the wrong regardless of their 'side' but that's not what you do.

But you still have a number of people that are creating crap OP after crap OP against Secretary Clinton. Yes, the number of posts is down considerably from a couple of weeks ago ... but if you compare what side is doing what, try being honest and listing them, you'll find that the against Clinton OPs well outnumber the against Sanders OPs.

And if you look at the "quit being so mean to us OPs" ... all I've seen are the BS cheerleaders posting those.

It's the Bernie followers still in campaign mode because Bernie still is.

Bernie followers are still trying to shut down dissent. They can't do it with the jury system anymore so they're pushing the narrative that supporters of the Democratic nominee are in campaign mode for continuing to defend Clinton against their BS.

But in the case of Clinton, it's about these conspiracy theories you'd expect to see on right wingnut sites or breathless concern trolling over the email investigation, Benghazi, Broaddrick, etc.

Gotta make sure we know exactly how despicably racist, sexist, and misogynistic we are. An unrelenting avalanche of shit dumped on us "losers".

Any attempt at dignity must be met with knives gauging out more flesh. Make sure we're all shoved into disgusting charicatures of the "other" to ensure this movement is dead, dead, dead - pushed into the ovens of history.

Sun Jun 12, 2016, 03:18 AM
Jun 2016

As long as the BSers post anti-HRC shit, the HRCers will respond with anti-Bernie shit.

And the anti-HRC (and often anti-Dem) stuff getting posted here right now is over-the-top bulllshit, because posters who are planning to leave on the 16th anyway don't care if they get a hide - or even banned. So it's a "fire at will" mentality.

So of course the Hillary supporters are going to counter-attack - by posting their anti-BS vitriol (finally free to do so at long last) and talk about how overjoyed they will be when the anti-Hillary folks are no longer welcome to post their usual crap.

Human nature, Ken. Suggesting that one side lay down their arms while the other side continues to fire at will is NOT going to be seen as a viable solution.

Yes, it WILL all come together in good time. But that time won't arrive until the Admins put their foot down.

That's not the way it should be - but it IS the way it is.

when can you? Everyone is tired of the same old lies when nothing changes for the people on the lower end . We have been watching this for decades only a few benefit. We watch Democrats and republiCons on these talk shows like MJ throwing around millions like they are pennies and crying about a tax cut as though that matters to most.

If you don't have a job or are in debt what does it matter. If you are homeless who gives a damn! We watched Hillary in 2008 not get out the race when she was losing and then had the audacity to ask Obama supporters to pay off her 21 million dollar debt when she is a millionaire. Most of the shit she is talking about won't be felt by most, but feinstein, ryan mcconnell, and the rest of the gang will be even richer..

When it comes to the people tax dollars they use it for wars and other peoples shit but when it comes to using our money for WE THE PEOPLE we hear but, but, but,it can't be done..

I notice that Hillary lovers want everyone to just shut up and go along with the program and forever hold our peace. I don't think so.
