(14,923 posts)Was Fernando advising Hillary Clinton about tactical nukes while he sat on the advisory board?
Why was this securities trader given Top Security Clearance that gave him full ACCESS to highly sensitive information?
Was Fernando an expert in nuclear weapons or strategist if so, what are his credentials?
Was Fernando vetted by the FBI before being given top security clearance?

Tu quoque or the appeal to hypocrisy is an informal logical fallacy that intends to discredit the validity of the opponent's logical argument by asserting the opponent's failure to act consistently in accordance with its conclusion(s).
I don't usually get to see that one on adult boards.

(1,078 posts)Instead of just elected Dems and party officials? Note, I'm focusing on the "super" part of the phrase. If the article had said he's an ordinary delegate appointed to represent a candidate based on a primary or caucus I wouldn't have questioned it.

(1,078 posts)Instead of just an excuse to make gratuitous digs at a candidate who won 45% of the delegates despite enormous institutional disadvantages. Bernie must be really haunting your dreams for you to bring him up in a question that had zero to do with him. smh
First off, Bernie was elected which makes him far more qualified to be a super-delegate than Rajiv Fernando.
Secondly, Bernie is currently a Democrat who ran in the Democratic primary and got about 45% of the delegates to Clinton's 55%. So it's not at all surprising he would be a super-delegate. Even if Bernie got 1% that would be thousands more votes than Rajiv Fernando.
Lastly, the only place I suspect you've seen that Bernie "stated" that he intended to revert to Indie is in your dreams. I suspect he's going to be sticking around and making life uncomfortable for the Big Money wing of the party.

(7,393 posts)Just curious as to how you think this has worked over the course of the primary campaign? Has it helped Bernie in your estimation? I am asking sincerely because I thought his campaign's decision to attack the Dems and the DNC was a total loser.
I never would have imagined that attacking the party for which you are trying to win the nomination would work. And of course it did not. I think these kind of baseless attacks are what helped him lose.
I will tell you honestly, Bernie would have always been a hard sell for me because I am very much a policy wonk, and I was very much aware of what he was saying that was in no way true. But his supporters (here and elsewhere) really, really turned me off to him. There was no redeeming my vote for him after what I have seen from them.

Sancho
(9,067 posts)The "Donor" (his real name is TOP SECRET) is really a CIA SPY!! The whole idea is to sneak businessmen and foundation workers into countries all over the world, collect information, assassinate foreign leaders, and never raise suspicion.
In fact, the Clinton server had coded emails to "Clinton Foundation" workers, donors, and operatives that provided drone targets, surveillance, and weapons deliveries!!
Chances are YOU violated a dozen laws by simply posting this OP!!!
If Skinner's new rules don't get you, the FBI will be at your door soon.
