Secretary Clinton is doing a good job

In the face of horror, she's responding well. In the face of Trump's shit, she's doing very well.

As someone who intensely dislikes her, I want to give her credit when she does well.

She's responding the way a Democratic politician should. I thank her for that.

2. She's doing OK, but Trump made her play his game.

"I can say the words Islamic jihadist".

This is Trump's talent - to get people to respond to him on his own very sketchy terms. He made the whole GOP pack do this during their primary.

He's the Dilbert creator, but also a hypnotist, And he said Trump's power was in framing.

And that's clear here. He put Clinton on a backfoot. Even though he's being a gigantic asshole, he still put Clinton on defense

Its going to be a long campaign.

3. Well thank you. Maybe you can find it in your heart to work on that "intense dislike" thing.

Just, hopefully consider it. Shave a little off the edges here and there.

But honestly - thank you.

5. She is getting severely criticized by lefties on my facebook.

Some people don't want to label this incident Islamic Terrorism. People are implying she is pandering to conservatives. The Log Cabin Republicans have officially called out Obama for not calling it Islamic Terrorism according to the "trending" column on my facebook page. I personally have stayed out of this discussion at this point. I am not sure what to think.

on edit: I got what she called the incident wrong, apparently "radical islamism" is what she called it.

7. I have zero problem with the term but I'm aware of the optics

The issue is framing by the right and Obama is a master at not playing their game or bending to there will.

I personally am not in the Hillary vs Bernie/primary mode so much at the moment. What she said really didn't bother but it does people I usually agree with on everything else. For me I guess overwhelming sadness trumps everything else and its all i have the energy for at the moment.

16. While I'm not in Hillary mode I realize that more than likely she'll be the nominee.

It doesn't bother me that Hillary said it other than it lends to the belief that she's late to every decision.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around Orlando and I'm not sure I ever will. Tragic on many fronts.

Which I felt was on point. I didn't like that she was reacting to Trump, but as long as she said the words.

And she parsed appropriately. I don't want peaceful Muslims attacked on account. She drew a good line, IMO.

17. Yeah I am not bothered by it.

Right now I have a young gay Pakistani muslim friend in Seattle all distraught because many of who he thought were his friends are on social media making islamaphobic comments so he has to deal with THAT on top of the grief we all are dealing with so that has made me sensitive to what the peaceful Muslims have to deal with. He worries for his younger and older family members here in the USA.

I just wonder how the right wing bigots handle hating both gays AND muslims. and FUCK the Log Cabin Republicans.

Did you know that Sherrod Brown wrote some of her policy proposals?

She can afford the best.

18. She is involved in writing her speeches. All presidential candidates have writers, by the way.

Obama has great speech writers. Even the beloved and pure as the driven snow Bernie has them.. I know, it must come as quite a shock. How could Bernie, the purest of the pure, not write 100% of the words that come out of his mouth? How could it be!!! But it is true. Sorry.

Gun regulation is a no-brainer. It just takes courage to advocate for same when running for president as the first modern female nominee.
