Bush , Cheney, & Rumsfeld should ALL have been held accountable. And yes. They did much worse things like supporting and allowing torture.

Obama let them skate which was wrong to do. Cheney has bragged about his war crimes and the Obama administration did nothing....

But that doesn't excuse extremely poor and perhaps criminal behavior by Clinton. She played fast and loose with the law in regards to pay to play using every loophole available to enrich herself from special interests in the last few years.

And you don't even respond to the fact that Hillary went behind Obama's back to hire Blumenthal through her charity foundation no less to provide the Libya intel.

But I understand why you keep blaming everyone else for Hillary's problems. It's all you got....

Bernie Sanders Illegally Used Campaign Funds For Trip To Italy-FEC Filings

Here is the Article Confirming Bernie Sanders illegally used Campaign Funds to pay for his Charter Flight and Stay in Vatican City to attend the Conference he says he was invited to. In the previous article in POLITICADE from April 27th: Margaret Archer, President of the Academy, said that Sanders went around her to get an invitation to the conference in order to win the Catholic vote in the US Presidential primary: “Sanders made the first move, for the obvious reasons. He may be going for the Catholic vote but this is not the Catholic vote and he should remember that and act accordingly…His use of it is clearly a pretext…there will be nothing of policy relevance.” www.politicade.com/...

In Today’s Article June, 4th Politicade confirms that the FEC does not allow for Campaign Finance Money to be used for such a trip. Presidential Campaign Finance Reports, which include receipts and disbursements for the month of April, have been in ’processing’ status since they were submitted to the FEC on 5/20. Yesterday, the FEC made the detailed campaign finance reports available to the public.
Screen_Shot_2016-06-04_at_9.48.02_PM.jpg FEC FILING SHOWING SANDERS USE OF CAMPAIGN FUNDS TO CHARTER JET TO TRIP TO VATICAN CITY FOR STAFF, FAMILY AND PRESS
The reports provide evidence that Bernie Sanders illegally used campaign funds for his overnight stay in Italy with 10 family members. Lodging at the 5-star luxury Hotel Boscolo Exedra in Rome, Italy was billed to the campaign in the amount of $13,758. Rooms at the luxury hotel start at $400 a night and go up to $8,000 a night. Additional expenses include $883 for lodging and catering at Hotel Michelangelo in Rome.

On 4/8, Bernie Sanders announced he would travel to the Vatican on 4/15. Private chartered flights must be paid in full before scheduled departure date. On 4/11, the campaign disbursed $613,451 for chartered air travel. This amount dwarfs all other Sanders’ campaign air charter travel expenses to date.

So now the truth of the illegal use of Campaign Funds has been revealed. Sanders Campaign Knowingly used the funds, raised by all of those $27 donations to make a trip that would be made by the 1% Bernie Constantly Rails On About. I wonder how quickly the MAIN STREAM MEDIA will call him out on this. One thing we know for sure. If it was HILLARY CLINTON it would have been in the media weeks ago. 9. Could Hillary Clinton really be indicted over her emails?
Mon Jun 13, 2016, 11:14 PM
Jun 2016

Stewart, a former air force B1-bomber pilot, adds: “If I had behaved that way in the military, I would be very concerned about my legal future.”

State department and intelligence officials have identified 2,093 email chains from Clinton’s server as containing classified information. Twenty-two were deemed so highly classified that they were withheld from release to the public. Clinton contends that none of the messages was marked classified at the time.

But former US attorney Joseph DiGenova is blunt: “I don’t think there’s any question Mrs Clinton and her staff broke the law. She maintained a server in her private home in Chappaqua, New York, and conducted government business. This clearly was beyond gross negligence.

“When she set up the server, the intent was to avoid accountability. There is no other intent required. The notion this is not a violation of the law is ludicrous. If she and her staff get a pass, there will be hell to pay in the intelligence community.”

A critical editorial in the Washington Post said last month: “While not illegal behavior, it was disturbingly unmindful of the rules. In the middle of the presidential campaign, we urge the FBI to finish its own investigation soon, so all information about this troubling episode will be before the voters.”

So how likely is it that Clinton will be indicted when the FBI hands its report to the Department of Justice?

He says: “There’s been a large push online to say this investigation is over and Hillary Clinton has been cleared and nothing’s going to happen. I think that’s total bullshit in that no one knows what’s happening at the FBI and, if they did, they [the FBI or those outside the bureau with knowledge of the investigation] broke the law.

“I would hope that if the FBI determines that she has broken the law, she will be indicted. I would hope that we have the strength and courage as a country to hold everyone to the law.”

Dan Metcalfe, a Democrat who served as director of the Department of Justice’s Office of Information and Privacy for more than 25 years, wrote in a column last month: “So what you must contemplate, as a leader of the Democratic Party, is the very real possibility of your likely presidential candidate actually being indicted, on criminal charges, sometime between now and, say, (a) the time of the convention at the end of July; (b) the time of the general election in early November; or (c) Inauguration Day in January. Which possibility would you prefer?”

Is anyone else in the line of fire?

Yes. Clinton’s former chief of staff Cheryl Mills and her deputy Huma Abedin have both been interviewed by the FBI during the investigation and could be in more trouble than she is.

The nameless former government lawyer says: “Aides of hers are, sadly, in jeopardy.

11. Hillary Clinton Received, Stored, and Forwarded E-Mail with Classified Marking in April 2012: Report
Mon Jun 13, 2016, 11:20 PM
Jun 2016

The report published on June 11 reveals that a 2012 email released by the State Department shows that Clinton stored an email on her private server with a classified code, called a “portion marking,” that indicated the information in the email was classified.

It was sent by Monica Hanley to Clinton on Sunday, April 8, 2012, at 10:41 p.m. Clinton was serving in the Obama administration as the U.S. Secretary of State at the time.

The email discussed the scheduling of a phone call with Joyce Banda, who became Malawi’s first female president after the death of President Bingu wa Mutharika.

Repeat. So now the truth of the illegal use of Campaign Funds has been revealed. Sanders Campaign Knowingly used the funds, raised by all of those $27 donations to make a trip that would be made by the 1% Bernie Constantly Rails On About.

Ball is in your park. Explain this.
ROME (AP) - Pope Francis said his brief encounter Saturday with U.S. presidential candidate Bernie Sanders was a sign of good manners, "nothing more," and hardly evidence of interfering in American politics.

The White House hopeful called it a "real honor" to meet "one of the extraordinary figures" in the world, a kindred spirit on economic inequality, which is a main campaign theme of Sanders'.

Francis was on his way to Greece to highlight the plight of refugees and Sanders was wrapping up his trip to Rome when they met in the lobby of the pope's residence, the Domus Santa Marta hotel in the Vatican gardens. The Vermont senator had attended a Vatican conference Friday on economic inequality and climate change, and flew back to New York for campaign events on Saturday.

"This morning when I left, Sen. Sanders was there. ... He knew I was leaving at that time and I had the kindness to greet him and his wife and another couple who were with them," the pope told reporters traveling back with him to the Vatican.

From everything I've ever read about this e-mail situation, and being as objective as I could be, I never thought there would be an indictment for this very reason stated by Wells and other "objective" lawyers who know as much about the situation as they can know:

Hiding something from the Inspector General is a crime, isn't it?

One of the staffers told IG investigators that it was made clear that "the matter was not to be discussed any further," according to the report. The other employee said staffers were told "never to speak of the Secretary's personal email system again," it says.

Perhaps not, as there was no Inspector General at State during Clinton's term.

I worry that if there is even a recommendation from the FBI, turned down by the DoJ,
that it may cost the Democrats dearly in the GE.
Will there be an indictment? I doubt it.
Are there grounds for an indictment? I believe so.
I truly wish that the investigation would wind up soon, and either give HRC a clear ride to the GE,
or give us a chance to decide what to do.
Weirdest primary ever.

... by Bernie supporters who insisted that Bernie's "message" would transcend all party affiliations, would appeal to everyone (Dems and GOPers alike), and would be embraced by "the People" en masse.

How quickly it devolved into "if HRC is indicted, Bernie can still pull this off" being his campaign's ONLY hope - oh, and convincing the SDs to ignore the will of the people and crown Bernie "The Loser" Sanders as the nominee.

"A future to believe in" quickly became "a future we can pass off as one that people believed in" if only Hillary is brought down, and the voice of "the People" can somehow be ignored.

It's a sad ending to a story that began with, "Once upon a time, there was a man who insisted he was all about The People" and ended with, "And then the Man of the People decided that The People shouldn't be listened to after all, if they stood between him and the Crown."

And they were still clinging to and in some cases she said praying for something to happen with Benghazi.

Yeah, I know Benghazi

These folks were really struggling and thrashing around very desperately judging from all they were saying for "something" to happen with Hillary.

Then he would be ready to swoop in when that inevitable indictment comes down. (And lose to whomever the Dems put in to replaced Hillary.)

The only question is how soon before he drops his DINO status and goes back to calling himself an Independent, rather than a Democrat. My guess would be soon, as he is already fund-raising as an Independent for 2018.

Once the election is on, you should be supporting any D who runs against Sanders (at DU, anyway). Who you pull the lever for in the privacy of the voting booth is up to you.

If a D runs against Sanders in 2018, it will only be because the DNC has allowed it, and pulled all of their funding from Sanders. They will need to decide if a strong D can beat an R, or if they're better off staying with Independent Sanders. The last thing they want is to lose a safe "votes-with-the-Ds" seat to an R.
