Trump is in way over his head

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by one_voice (a host of the 2016 Postmortem forum).

He really doesn't have the intellect or stamina for the job. I think he knows it too. He's looking and sounding awful.

He will claim health or some other reason and the Republicans will insert a more traditional candidate. I hear people say that will alienate his voting block. One thing to remember, the right always falls in line, more so against HRC.

...his overblown ego would revel in having the title of POTUS, but that there is no way he wants to work hard enough to actually be doing the job.

With as overly sensitive as he is to even the mildest criticism, he would be ready to blow within a week. he is like the Red Queen in Alice in Wonderland - "Off with his head!"

...away with that approach, I think he would totally chafe at both the criticisms ALL presidents have to take, and the loss of personal freedom. The Secret Service knows when the president goes to the bathroom, and probably which bodily function is being performed.
