How do I start a petition to get Bernie off his ego trip and give it up?

He is turning into such a joke. It's sad. He basks in the glow of the crowds and thinks people want him to stay in. When the truth is, no one is paying any attention to him anymore and he will be a sad caricature of himself by the time the convention comes around -- and he will be booed.

That the voters have rejected his platform and him as the nominee doesn't matter.
That it would be better for the party doesn't matter.

You cannot be so slow that you are incapable of using Teh Google to determine how to start a petition!

However, please note that most Bernie supporters DO want him to stay in, and not the least because Hi11ary is STILL under investigation by the FBI.

Why don't you reserve your energy to support your candidate instead of snarkily slamming Senator Sanders?

Everything he says in his stump speach he said on that show and he's been saying it for years.

Where I think Bernie is wrong is that he says a revolution will change the party. Yet because he didn't win people refuse to vote in the general.
.
Only if we get more power in Washington can change happen.

His followers don't know how that works. They think going to a rally and online polls give them power.

Frankly, anyone who thinks BS is motivated by ego does not really understand the man or the passion others feel for him. Perhaps if you were less personally invested, you would have clearer vision.

My advice: If you want to start a petition, start a petition.

46. An interesting display of inside-the-Beltway thinking as per Matt Taibbi:
Wed Jun 15, 2016, 04:03 AM
Jun 2016
Politicians are so used to viewing the electorate as a giant thing to be manipulated that no matter what happens at the ballot, they usually can only focus on the Washington-based characters they perceive to be pulling the strings. Through this lens, the uprising among Democratic voters this year wasn't an organic expression of mass disgust, but wholly the fault of Bernie Sanders, who within the Beltway is viewed as an oddball amateur and radical who jumped the line.

Nobody saw his campaign as an honest effort to restore power to voters, because nobody in the capital even knows what that is. In the rules of palace intrigue, Sanders only made sense as a kind of self-centered huckster who made a failed play for power.
And the narrative will be that with him out of the picture, the crisis is over. No person, no problem.[/div class="excerpt"]

What's sad is the amount of allegedly average voters who identify with a party elite that see them as a problem to be managed instead of citizens to be represented.

Bernie has lost. It is over. He said he woulds stay in until the convention and that ia fine. He wants to make structural changes that are generally good and he represents a large group of voters.

Like you said. Nobody is paying him any attention and neither should you.
