(28,836 posts)As I posted elsewhere, it's an interesting tightrope he's walking. He's running the risk of whatever political capital he built up this cycle being drowned out by the focus on the general election and the solidarity of the rest of the party - and much of the public - against Trump.

Single-payer via big bang legislation is not the vehicle for healthcare reform. The work the Roosevelt Institute is doing on regulating the financial circles is several cycles ahead of his bromides about banks.
It's an irony missed by a lot of people that Clinton's policy recommendations are a lot more forward looking than Sanders's, which are mostly that old time religion from the left-wing hymnal.
