2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumCan Bernie just keep campaigning forever? Would be a kinda sweet deal.
Just keep his website up with the "donate" button, send out emails about "oligarchs" to get people to give him money, and go around giving angry speeches. And occasionally charter a jet for exotic international vacations.
Just tell the FEC that he's running for president in 2020.

Hopefully, one who can assemble a broader coalition together with a more disciplined and organized left, yet represent the same people-oriented interests.

Sen. Chuck Schumer, who is expected to be the partys next leader in the Senate after Reid retires at the end of this term, held his own meeting with the runner-up to Hillary Clinton last week, and echoed Reids comments.
He cares a lot about the Senate majority becoming Democratic, but he also cares about keeping his people engaged and the way to do that is issues, Schumer said. On issues, so many issues, the Democratic caucus and Bernie Sanders are aligned.
